Hi. I've recently tried to activate an eBay account using a Tracfone but neither the call nor text comes, so I'm assuming it's unsupported. Does anyone know of a cellphone / service that actually does work for phone verification? Preferably prepaid and no contract.

Thanks.

Try using sendhub, it works well with eBay from what I heard.

Sendhub - "Your US Cell #" - US/NA only. Anything else for European members of the forum? Phone forwarding or sth? Google Voice - only working for US (IPs). Skype - too much hassle I think (no instructions for n00b nowhere, or if someone can link or explain? + to be working for PP/eB ofc), others ...

I know there is someone provide reliable phone verification service. It work with all the countries as well. I had use his services before.

Maybe we don't need "someone", we need a real website, cheap (or free) and reliable, trustable. With n00b-friendly guide.

Just use this free service, great for SMS Text Verification, its also a great disposable number and can be used as a temporary proxy voice mail, each unique number only lasts a few days or for up to a week, it's called "RingShuffle" I can't post the direct link here, so just Google it.

I use this service to verify all sorts of things, especially when I don't want to use my real cell phone or a Go*gle/Yo*Tube account linked to me personally. Hope it works for you. Enjoy! :)

I can provide phone verification from almost all countries pm me

try free text online verification service textxp.com

get a tracfone its more better if you are doing an ebay business.

Thread is around 2 years old, but back then Google voice worked. As of now, it doesn't. Lots of testimonies that it causes issues with accounts receiving 0/0 selling limits.

Tracfone works and has been working for years. You can also try those prepaid/no contract phones you can find in stores.

Now you need to buy minutes with tracfone minimum $10 fee best to use other alternatives now.

Google voice is not recommended to be used as those numbers are just recycled. Any service that uses recycled numbers potentially can cause linkage
