What the hell happened?

Some of my sites are having the same issue. Just wait a little longer and they should come back. Half of my sites disappear every other day. I hate Google. lol

Thanks bro, makes me feel better knowing that is not nothing weird, how long it takes to come back? and why this happens? is it Google dance? Google penalize my website? Google put me on sandbox? or what is it?

Most of my sites disappear and come back higher when I throw some sort of backlinks at them. It can come back from the next day to a week. Yes, it is a Google dance and no your site will not be penalized. I have one site with 300k backlinks since 2008 that is sandboxed so I know the difference.

Thanks for the info bro, it is a big relief knowing that I am not penalized or worst and it is just Google Dance, damn I understand you too bro, I am starting to hate Google too, man it is bad for your health, I almost had a heart attack with this ranking BS, so, it goes up to a week? Can I still exchange links or just stop doing everything until ranking comes back, what is the best strategy since some people tell me to keep doing it and other to stop, what you recommend bro?

And what that means a penguin update? What happens when penguin makes an update, can you elaborate, since I am not use to this Google updates and want to learn about it, thanks! By the way does that affects my ranking site in anyway?

Hi,

yeah it happened for all of it's keywords for my main index site, but funny enough the URL ext pages are still climbing in ranking like they are sitting around the first 6 pages of G with very little SEO work done on them.

My SEO guy said it was google dance and that this is normal, I hope he is correct and it does return soon, I will let you know too.

thanks for the info, still the same its been 3 days, the only thing I don't understand is why this affects my website and no my competitors website?

Also, I caught some of my keywords coming back to second page but, for example I was on 5th position and when I check was 12th so, I lost ranking, but, was only for a second, now it disappear again. Hopefully it is not the final result and I will win some ranking positions.
 
A few of my sites got slapped too. It seems as if Google is trying to make it harder to get long tail phrases, my main phrases weren't affected much but my long tails PLUNGED.

but, is it really Google Dance or it is Google Penguin Update as avalon666 says? If it is Penguin then my results are not coming back?

What are the best way to create links the natural way? That is what supposly Google wants to avoid this, right? Or what is the best technic or strategy to avoid penguin and panda?

What are the best recommendations, not to get affected by penguin or panda?

Google dance. I know the feeling it happened with alot of my sites as well. However i've managed to get my ranking back building natural backlinks daily :)

After update complete, with in week we will see, actually site effected or not.
and its not penguin, its seems Panda refresh, as panda update coming.

Panda is about on site factors.
Avoid low quality contents. ads above fold, over optimized or keyword stuffing.

penguin is about link spam, don't build too many links in short time. do diversity in keyword anchors , raw anchors (click here, read more), sitename.com , like that.
and try few links only, but quality links.

my site have only 25 links and tanked on 6th march, its seem onsite factor, or just google dance. however i tried my best to do good contents, still checking for lowers quality and duplicate issue.

I will not give up, i have to fix it. if i leave it, next time i will do same mistake with other site and will tank.

so best is, keep doing research and try to fix, this way we learn and avoid penalties next time.
