Hostwinds vs Hostvizor?

Anyone have some experience with them that can compare the two? I'm currently using hostgator.

Hey Nik, I saw earlier today that you said that Hostwinds were scammers. Could you please explain?

I've been with Hostwinds a few months now and yeah, there have been a few downtimes when they have updated stuff, and this morning there were one, but I contacted them about it and in return for their apologies I got a month free hosting.

I think they're pretty good.

I have been with hostwinds a while had a few shit days with them but tech support is second to none. Hosted vps etc with them for a while. What makes you say they are scammers

Hostwinds is good, I had problem with SSL, with my popup. They helped me solve it. No1 else does that. It is not even their duty to help me still they did. Also I never experience that downtime all are saying. I am using it since 3 months and my friend is using them now for a year.

Go with them, they are good.

Never used Hostwinds, but have talked to them a few times -- once literally for a couple hours on a Sunday about hosting. They seem pretty legit, and like me own their hardware. I would give them a chance. The big companies are ok, but you dont get as good or personal service. Smaller companies are more likely to be proactive and helpful.

And no one can give you 100% uptime -- even Amazon cloud has crashed before, just look for 99.9% == that means your downtime in a month would be less than 43 minutes.

There are a lot of costs running a good hosting service, so if you want quality hosting it tends to cost a bit more than 99 cents or 1.99!
