How do you promote your Android apps? I'm looking for some cheap and effective methods.
Also, what do you do in order to rank an app higher, do Fiverr "10 reviews, 10 ratings, 10 G+'s" help a lot?

post on FB, YT and forums. If you have te budget then you can go with Fiverr. You can also promote it yourself. Use Bluestacks and comment on your own apps.

Why not promote using sites like admob. Become and advertiser, and you will get impressions on other apps, and people may install your app.

If its about cheap, then niche forum posting is what I feel is the right way

alternative app stores (amazon can drive good traffic)
web 2.0 blogs with links to the app
a website with your apps featured
app review sites
if its free, android app warez sites can drive some downloads

There are so many tech blogs out there where you can pay them to review your app. Just search for them.

Thanks for the spam, I'll buy your service right away

I can offer 20 Five star ratings or 10 reviews (with five start ratings). PM me or find me on fiverr by username"Tonaybd"

Hello,

I know this is my first post here at BHW. I do not like spam, but I think this site will be very helpfully to you.

You can promote your apps at Appsorg

Appsorg - Helps you share and organize your Android apps from around the web

one option that you might want to consider is partnering with a "couponing" blogger. Since you have an app that needs users and the couponing blogger has readers (make sure you only contact established bloggers)
Maybe you could work with a blogger to rebrand the app - instead of "Local Saver" it would be "CouponSite Local Saver" and split the profits with the blogger if he or she agrees to promote it on their blog.

Hope that helps!

I promote my apps through exchange app review sites, to use sites like these, you must review apps of other people to get points and when someone rate your app, the system get one point for you

The most basic way to promote an app is by

Social Media
Forum posting (dont Spam)
Creating a blog about your app
Youtube?

If you have budget try paid traffic for promotion.

I mostly use Social media site's ads to promote android apps.
I use create writing to attract people easily and reliably. You must have to use Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit to promote android apps.

I promote my apps by using social media sites and their ads services.
I create Facebook and Twitter ads that looks very nice with breif description about app. It attracts tha people and people use my apps and give their reviews.

1 If you use pirated assets what are the chances of getting caught.
2. Also has anyone used the $999 chupamobile service and is there a good chance it will get you a 100% roi.
3. Is the $449 chupa reskin about the same you would pay on elance for someone to reskin in?
I guess it probably depends on the app. About how much would you expect to pay on average on elance for 1 reskin?
