Theres a program called PRstorm, simple downlaod it from these forums, and you can ping/create around 1000+ backlinks overnight. Obviously since your website is new you can use it to create around 50 backlinks, by pinging other websites as refferer.

Be carefull with it though. Too much pinging will most likely raise some flags

I've been doing all of the above for 2 weeks now. Still not indexed. The only thing I find searching by url is an article I have linked to my site.

How are you checking that you are indexed or not? You know its not by searching your URL, right?

Go to google: google webmaster tool, add your website, VERIFY it, wait like an hour and check overview to see if any pages of your website are indexed. It will say on the overview if the pages are indexed or not.

senuke is the best way, create some social bookmarking accounts and then social bookmark your site at all of these, you will be indexed very quick, you can find senuke in the download section or buy it!

but in my case its enough to digg your site at digg.com..

Submit a sitemap to google. it will make indexing faster.

url and via site:yourdomain.com Funny thing is now. 2 of my pages come up that are linked to the home page. and I also get the site map showing up. In webmaster tools after I verified the next day it shows that there was an error with my site map. But then why is my site map listed? Does this mean eventually my pages will be crawled or have I dont something backwards? lol

Actually, no. If you get google webmaster tools, you can see exactly WHAT urls are bookmarked (subdomains etc), not just ur main domain.

Always, always use google webmaster check indexing and assign crawl rates.

Getting these squidoo lenses indexed is a pain in the ass. Been couple days now and Big 'G' aint bothered yet.

Ok, ya that .xml file was the error part I think I have it fixed now. Now its just the waiting game again. Think I used .html so It was telling me unsupported format.
