Someone cloned my Website(100%) !!!

Hi all ,
Few days ago , i have launched a new website (Wordpress + amazon product). Today i was checking Google webmaster tools and found that there is one "backlink". As my this site is very new and did not any offline seo yet , for curiosity i have followed the link. And i was astonished that , the link is coming from my very website clone. Clone means clone 100%, just with a new domain name . The affi links remain same(mine). everything is same.
WTF !
And how come Google indexed a clone site.
Does anyone have any idea, what is going on?
If someone kindly put some suggestion about my next steps , will be really grateful.

That might be a hosting issue or something... How someone could have known that it was cloned so far?

Try to find out if you are hosted on same shared hosting, if yes that might be a hosting issue, contact your hosting provider and explain what happened.

On their end website what cloned yours it might be just that owner of that website had SAME IP as yours and pointed to same name servers as yours and then when he deleted his website from HIS hosting and left name servers unchanged on whatever domain name registrar he was using...

That's what happened.

This happens all the time and it's funny when I see that some site linked back to my site, I go check and voila- guy copy-pasted (cloned as you say) entire article with pics and links (linking to some pages of my site). Now, I haven't got this kind of cases as you did but I bet this is not a hosting issue.

That's what happened.

If that is what happend they must have a very strange webserver setup. As far as i know all webservers need something that Points a domain to a physical folder. One version is they use curl and get your site to show as local. Rearanges some links if they want. You can copy almost any site like that.

I'm with littledragon, it's an old domain pointing to the same ip. Try contacting the owner. Also you can add some lines in your htaccess blocking this domain, you can find them in G.

Well all that I know is that it happened to me few years back and boy I was surprised...

I'm not hosting expert or anything like that, I just know that it happened and that it was resolved in minutes after I reported it to hosting provider. Just situation was slightly different, domain was mine and someone others content (adult website)... LOL

My domain name was resolving to some xyxyxyx website after I've deleted it from my hosting panel but kept name servers pointing to my hosting provider (instead of changing them to parking or something like that)...

So I just thought that it might be an issue with this situation...

the odds of it being on the same server are quite low

Maybe it's your web host copying your site? They see potential, they think, hmmm, hehehe lets steal his site. lol

Yes, if they are in same registrant maybe.

It was amazing to see 'bookingdotcom' content under my subdomain when the hosting guys was trying to show me that this was possible.

With all respect Sir, please read the reply and follow ups. It was a reply of litllewebdragon's comment that , the problem may occured from my hosting site as the both site containing the same IP.
