What do you mean by "it will create duplicate" if you add meta description from your content if the content isnt dublicated?

If yes (since you posted in the SEO forum): In short terms - It will help google and other search engines to know what your sites is about, and that whay know when to show it for a user when googling for your keyword.
If no: Sorry I dont know since i dont know what kind of optimization you'r talking about, is it load time? Titles? Navigation?
