Can I edit wikipedia and Insert my link

I often edit wikipedia to insert some news,shows,actors,religious but i have a niche and a new domain name for that niche,can I edit wikipedia page for my niche?

You can and sometimes it will be removed and sometimes not. If you do add it, i would recommend do not put it in front of other existing links but after. So usually if you respect the order in which links were placed (first come basis) it may not be removed.

great thanks mate,as i just found a new niche and new product just launched in the market and very few people are promoting it,i will edit wikipedia page and follow your instructions.Even if i don't make sales in the beginning,it will be a great source of free traffic for me.

Some editors run their own networks and they will kick you out no matter what. However, it's easier to stick if your link is published as a reference or footnote as those are more appreciated.

Yeah you can, I did it with a music blog me and my friend started a few years ago. Even though we aren't active writers on the blog anymore, it still gets some traffic from Wikipedia

Traffic from wikipedia is really quality traffic not junk.. so Give it a shot who knows .. you will only get to see things clear when you go near it so try it.. hope ur link never get removed

All link on wikipedia are no follow, so they can give you some visitor but those links have no benefit to SEO
