Am I ranking too fast?

Started ranking my site on February 10th. It is now the 28th, and I am #7 for a 15k monthly keyword. I have been doing white hat only (no tools except SB for high PR blogs)

Should I slow it down a bit? Building like 1-10 links a day.

At the rate you're going, I'd say you should be fine. Are you using Tiered Linking? That would be your best bet in order to protect your money site. Remember, you're going to get a boost because of your new content as well.

Just posting manual comments? Got lucky man. Diversify a bit, keep up the velocity.

Ok thanks for the info. I have just been doing high PR, web 2.0's , social bookmarks etc.

I just looked and my web 2.0's aren't even indexed yet and i created some like 2-3 weeks ago... should I blast a seo tool to them or what?

Your site could be dancing. Dance can also be positive. If your site, especially a new site, suddenly shoots up and rank fast: make sure you keep doing what you've been doing, and then diversify.

Rank might soon drop hard, and then climb back up a bit under the initial high-point.

No I only do like 2-3 blog comments a day with scrapebox, and i manually post them..just use sb to get the actual link..

OP, are the blogs you comment on d0f0ll0w? if so, can you please let me know how you find exclusively d0f0ll0w blogs.. i'm on the verge of dropping blog commenting cos I think i've never seen one of my blog comment links be DF...

i consider blackhat to be softwares spamming your site. obviously no one here relies on others making backlinks to their sites out of "appreciation" to the site.

When I say whitehat, i mean manual i guess

well, it depends doesn't it...? If you are posting a comment saying "blablabla, great read, blablabla, keep up the good work.. I also have a blog about blablabla, check it out and let me know what you think" then it isn't blackhat is it? Its just self promo which isn't frowned upon unless you are automating that and spamming thousands of blogs..

anyway, lets not get into that endless debate of what is white and what is blackhat..

yes, you see.. in my opinion, this is a huge footprint screaming "I blast my site with scrapebox" to google (although 200, 500, 1000 links might still be under their radar). Most wordpress blog comment links now are nofollow which means no link juice, and I remember in Scritty's ranking factors (june-oct 2012) they mentioned that over 5% of nof0ll0w links could negatively affect your ranking (among lots of other factors). This is my biggest challenge with link building at the moment..
