This is a journal to document the revival of an old amazon affiliate site I have lying around. It its heyday it pulled in $100 a month. Ever since penguin and panda rolled around, the site has never been the same. Its been abandoned for about 3-4 months now. However it still makes a bit of money.

Earnings Jan 2013: $18.06

Actions:
- Install SEO Content Machine for content
- Rent a VPS for SenukeX at ThrustVPS
- Get a copy of Megaton Template

Just signed up for a 2GB VPS at thrust. Already having problems setting it up, I got a IP duplicate problem that requires a ticket.
I tried to fix it, but 1hr later I was getting no where fast.

Twiddling my thumbs now...

Subscribed.Best of luck mate, I hope you get to solve the IP issue soon.

Well,

ThrustVPS has turned into a whole bunch of nothing. 2 days later, and NO VPS or even an email back from the account support people. I have instead $36 credit in an account... I've decided to raise a paypal dispute to get the money refunded.

Luckly I have a friend who graciously has offered me use of a 3GB VPS + 50 priv proxies for much less than $36.

1) Installed SENukeX
2) Installing Captcha Sniper
3) Installing SEO Content Machine

I have been reading some posts by what seems like the Hero of SenukeX --> Tops.

Finally got SenukeX installed and ready. Also put on captcha sniper. I couldn't work out how to only get SN to work with ONLY captcha sniper however.

Spent about 15-20 mins setting up my first campaign. Which was quick with content from SCM... however the repetitive copying and pasting was a chore.
I am going to talk to SenukeX guys and see if they can't include some form of data import?

Here is the template i'm using
Social-Megaton-SEnuke-Template.png

Its huge, around 18 properties to copy and paste into.

For link building I decided to start of really gently by just targeting my money site root URL and keyword is the same.

Submission set to occur over 30 days.

Not sure what keywords to go next, since I am targeting 10 different amazon products.

senuke is great if you can cover the $200 monthly cost for program/vps/proxies

Fortunately I have friends also in the business. I'm splitting a Senuke license. Also got a very good deal on VPS + proxies. Total is worth $100 p/month

Good to have friends!

End Of Month:
Stats are in....

Feb: $11.40
2.3% conversion rate

1) Senuke is running properly. In 5 days its done... 5 links. Something is wrong. Not as easy setting up as I remember.
2) Senuke support wasn't enthusiastic about the idea of content import ala GSA SER. In fact support was pretty average. I think all they do is read the subject line and reply based of that. Very.. average...

Going to fix senuke. Hopefully can get back on track soon.

I finally managed to figure out what the problem was. I was using squid proxies and account creations were failing left right and centre. Since disabling the proxies. Success rate has improved dramatically.

I am not using any captcha service. Only free captcha sniper!

I have set up another campaign for another innerpage. (3 campaigns in total so far). I am going to run this campaign straight away (no scheduling) while I keep testing senuke for success rate.
