I am a graphic designer and web developer out of New Jersey and I have a lot of local clients. I have many connections with small businesses and have just about as much work as I can handle.
One big thing that everyone wants is to be at the top of Google. Two of my most recent clients are paying upwards of $300 a month on Google Clicks, and I feel as if it may be wasting money. When I search these pages on Google its hard to even find them.
I would love to work with someone for SEO for these sites. The problem is my clients usually are small business owners that will not trust an outsider and rightly so.
I can give a perfect example, right now I am working with a small Pest Control Company out of New Jersey and I don't think it should be difficult at all to rank them with a little help. My questions for you is how difficult and how much money would someone have to put in to get ranked in top 5 for something like "Raccoon Control New Jersey" "Raccoon Removal NJ" "Bat Removal NJ" "Bat control New Jersey" and even "Pest Control NJ". If anyone can tell me the difficulty level of getting ranked for these keywords I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, any other advice on how to deal with this SEO issue I am running into. Honestly I rather not get involved with it but it is in high demand for my clients at the moment and I see huge money potentials.
