Just picking up on this thread - not sure if my situation is different but grateful if someone could guide me as to how I can send emails to existing lists - I have named contacts not info at addresses - but stuff is aged 1-4 years and usual email provider not happy with anything over a couple of years old. Just keen to get a bulk email out to as many contacts as possible and get them into email boxes - that way we have cleansed and verified list and can delete the bounces. Looking for advice on best (free if possible) email verifier and best bulk sender - biggest thing is avoiding spam folders and making sure I hit inboxes..Thanks

Hi stag .. if you are looking for 80% ++ inbox rate then its good for you to go with service like mandrill , mailchimp , aweber , getresponse , sendgrid .. but as you already know they will suspend your account if you have high percentage of hard bounce or spam complaints ..
First you can try your list with your own smtp server setup so you can check and clean hard bounce from your list
