Hey Guys,

I've created a simple scraper for google and bing. It is extendable with simple plugins and supports proxies.

Feel free to create your own scraper plugins. I'm going to extent the core with a proxy scraper as the next step.

I can't upload it as attachment and can't link to it. Maybe an older member can do that for me? Just let me know I'll send you the Download link per pm.

Yeah it's using .Net 4.5 I've just updated the Download page with the info.

i can't install .Net 4.5 on my pc... it said that "The .NET Framework 4.5 is not supported on this operating system."

any ideas on this? i'm using winxp pro sp3 hoping to get help Thanks.

I have the fear I can't help you on that one, Windows XP Professional is no longer supported by Microsoft.

Maybe you should consider updating your Operating System, would be safer I think XP doesn't even get Security Updates nowadays.

yep your right i just head over to their site and read about .Net 4.5 and winxp it is not supported anymore but...

This behavior is by design in .NET Framework 4.5 Beta. The minimum supported operating systems are Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Windows XP is not a supported operating system for the Beta release.

.Net 4.5 was released on Aug 15 2012 but still no longer supports WinXP or Server 2003.

Do you need the .NET 4.5?
You can easily convert the software to 4.0 or even 2.5 I've done it multiple times for my free software at bottopia.com

to christoss1959: The App is using .Net 4.5 and C# 5 Features, so a conversion to .Net 4.0 or .Net 2.0 is nothing that will happen .

to CodeMe: What should the Facebook Profile URL scraper do? Could you be a bit more specific?
