Possible to become a BILLIONAIRE from only IM?

No one billionaire in the world has become a billionaire because of just one "job" or "profession" - all of them have diverse income sources.

lol wtf. If top earners here make $12-14 per day, I must be in the top 0.00001% of earners lol.

Come on, he was obviously just trolling. Even I made $16/hr when working part-time besides school, so with $12-14/d any 9-to-5 is a better choice ;)

Define internet marketing though.. "marketing on the internet".. of course it's possible to earn a billion with internet marketing, it's way more possible than if you were having a day job. Some of the people I know don't even think it's possible to earn any money online and are happy to stick to a day job with their 1-2 week a year holiday. That's not my path, I never want to go back to a day job.

Internet Marketing of SEO Services = from $1k (Local biz) to $500k/mo (Resellers)
Internet Marketing of Info Products you create or being an "authority" affiliate = Definitely possible to earn millions, possibly billions over a few years

http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/my-income-reports/ = Up to $50k/month - affiliate marketing + ebook/niche sites - started 2008
Jason Fladlien = $2k/mo 2009 now 50-100k/mo ($10k/mo easily from WSO's - rest from his own products/affiliate marketing/webinars/JV's/List, etc)
Frank Kern = (Monthly Memberships of min. $297/mo, Product Launches, JV's + consulting fees over 100k)

I think if you're willing to do webinars & podcasts.. you could easily make $20k-$40k/month, and if you are in the IM market, and can promote your stuff on the Warrior Forum, you could do it quite quickly.

I think it's possible to earn thousands a month from niche sites, but it might take years unless you know the shortcuts/have a mentor, or have a team of outsourcers to help.

I've been watching WSO people and started noticing that those that maybe started selling their knowledge as a once-off in a WSO a year or so ago, now spend a lot less time doing their normal business and pretty much have gone full time creating WSO's. If they are making $10k/mo or more from the warrior forum, why would they do anything else. It builds an instant list for them to re-sell to - having the list means that they can get a lot of buyers for their upcoming WSO's as well (sheep follow sheep), once they have mastered the formula, established a crowd of followers, they can also JV with "unknowns or other celeb's" to multiply their living online.

I think you could earn a billion or at least a few million from the warrior forum alone. But having quality membership sites and a buyers list would definitely help.

The real money is in development, development of platforms.

I can't post links... there was an article in Inc, this week of a company that consolidated their 250 individual sites into one hub. They saw an increase in sales of 16% with the consolidation to crack $600M in annual revenue. These were all drop-shipping sites I believe.

I have a friend who nets almost a million each year for the last five selling info products.

So yes, it is possible.

its tough but its still possible
lets say you own 1000 products that sells 1million per year (quite possible even some clickbank products do better than that)

here is your billion

Make 1 product that has a monthly subscription of $1k/month to use and get 30k users world wide = $30 mil profit a month.... sell the business for 36 x monthly earnings $1bil + profit.

Question is what can you make that 30k people would be willing to pay $1k/month.

I call BS on that. Most of them have become millionaires from 1 thing, they only diversified AFTER they made their money.

Bill gates, Richard Branson, the creators of Google, the creators of Yahoo, Walt Disney... the list goes on. Most of those individuals only diversified afterwards. Read Millionaire Fastlane for more info on this.

I don't think anyone will get rich only from IM, the IM game changes every week...
I think it's possible to make a good money but if you diversify your business model and really work on it like a business.

IM Can Make Billionairs And Nillionairs ( Those Who Have Little Money And Then To Nothing ) =]]

Cheers,
Nik

Totally agree, while their core time might be spent in one area they will still invest in others. Once you achieve a certain level of success you do not keep all your eggs in one basket. When you have a significant amount of money in the bank you will then invest in property and stocks. All billionaires have diversified to become billionaires.

Nope. Sorry.
Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram - their founders had jack all to do with internet marketing.

Yes, their services now include marketing, on the internet. This does not make them 'internet marketers' they are developers.
If you want to become a billionaire, you don't market anything. You develop something. You let other people do the marketing.

Google was effectively started from a PhD research project on a Computer Science degree, Zuckerberg wrote the majority of original Facebook code himself, both of Instagram's original founders were software engineers.

You do not become ridiculously rich as an 'internet marketer' you become ridiculously rich as a developer.

This is addressed to the fucking idiot who anonymously neg-repped me with the following comment:

dummy.... you think internet marketing is just promoting.... IM covers everything including SEO, Media buy, Product development and promotion of your product... HERP DERP go back to WF

First of all, man up and leave your name with your negative rep comments, unless you're too pathetic to defend your own opinions openly in the public forum. As I have been involved in the internet marketing scene for several years, I know most of the ins and outs of SEO, media buying and product development. And, as anyone with actual experience in product and service development - you know, instead of someone like you who bought ScrapeBox then thought he was some type of 'internet guru' - will tell you, developing internet products and services and internet marketing are two very different things.

Lets use Facebook as an example. Mark Zuckerbergs estimated personal wealth is around the $10 billion USD mark. Mark personally developed the core behind the original Facebook code as a programmer, while studying Computer Science at Harvard. Mark describes himself, and would be described by anyone with two brain cells as a developer - not an internet marketer. As I have said already, the fact that Facebook involves marketing on the internet does not make the developer that created it an internet marketer as much as developing an oil used as an engine lubricant does not make you a race car driver.

The two fields are connected.
They are not the same.

I challenge you to find me one single self-proclaimed 'internet marketer' worth in excess of a billion USD. Until you can do that, kindly GTFO BHW and stop wasting our bandwidth with you ignorant opinions.

It's easy. To become a billionaire as an Internet Marketer, simply own a CPA network. (;

Selling products,Creating Value,Advertising,Improving existing ideas and creating new ones are the ways that people usually become billionaires...."IM" is basically doing this using the internet as a primary medium. Try not to limit yourself and your thinking using definitions and titles.

Worry about the first billion once you get to your first million. If you want to get to your first million it better be doing something you are passionate about and money doesn't count as a passion.

I totally agree with IamNRE and his vision.

I would start by looking for a recurring monthly subscription product, then trying to make solid income over that. Of course it is not easy to find something that people would willing to pay forever, but I would suggest that - for example - a coaching program may suit this.

For example: start a coaching program and/or a link building service then sell it on a monthly basis, let's say $27/month. If you keep the quality going, people will stick with subscription.

When you learned the right way, then scale. You won't get rich overnight, but you will have funds to expand your business to an higher level.

Hope this helps :)

Definitely it is, as there are multiple ways to earn. I am already on my way to $100k per month, hopefully I will reach there by the end of September 2013.
