What should be the approximate age of my site to be approved by Adsense? I am going to apply my blog in about 1-2 weeks. It will have about 10 articles by then. Are they likely to reject it?

One thing I've found lately, is a site should be about 2-3 weeks old. and have about 8-10 articles. Thats been pretty much the rules for last few years..

But recently there seems to be a catch. each post should have something in the 800-1000 word range.
