I am considering using poker bots to make a little extra on the side after seeing on rent a cracker, unfortunately the site went down before i could take the name of the bot? Anyways I was just wondering if anybody has been using poker bots with success and any recommendations?

I have lots of experience in poker, offline (floor supervisor in a major strip casino) and offline.

I've seen a few bots, but we just aren't up to the level that we need to be. The games are very tough nowadays, and I don't believe a bot can be profitable. The security measures the sites have now are pretty sophisticated, so it probably isn't even worth it.

I did have limited success with a skill game site bot. I got it from [email protected] .
I used the bot for W0rldwinner. Problem was, everyone else was using the bot, and we were getting ridiculous scores every time. The bot was expensive, $9.99 a week, and it's hard to stay under the radar.

Thanks SteamyMcSteam,

Thats a shame, but i guess there would already be lots of threads on this if it was a definite money maker... Any tips or software for giving you the edge if you are playing yourself? kinda love poker and would like to get back into it!

Look, I think you are only profitable if you scam casinos nowadays by using bots in general to get those new user bonuses. If you register with a casinosite you mostly get 200+ extra money for the first deposit. So what's the catch? Take a look at for example http://www.888.com

-> "The instant part of the Welcome Bonus can be cashed out only after an amount totaling *20 times has been wagered."

So a good pokerbot keeps your money while playing. You loose a litte in the end but your are free to cash your bonus...

That sounds reasonable? are you doing this at the moment pizzafasie? any bot recommendations?

Hey steveJD,
I dont do that at the moment because I have different interests now.
Though it is quite a way to make money. There you will find a lot of different bots
for the method I talked about in my first post:

Best regards!

me and one friend used to make pokerbot based on openholdem software.
Basically you need to write proper strategy and play on limit tables.
The best we did was playing ~0$ (not loosing) during 5-10k hands.
it could give ~160$ in bonuses and may be small rake back.
but it does not worth of your time (you can not handle 20 vmwares with own ips) and 20 accounts

the best success I heard was about a guy who played with 4 bots (same nicks) on non limited tables (this is something special for bots) and made ~16k per month +8k in rake

and sometimes his bots was -10k in balance.

so if you you have ulimited time AND you are math genius it is very interesting to work on. but only in this cases :)

well thanks for all the feedback guys, it sounds its a lot of trouble with a high chance of failing. The original program i saw was on the recommened list so i thought maybe it worked but i think its probably best to stick to the BH methods on the forum!

I had success with the poker bot from bonusbots. I am currently making around $1000 per month + rakeback, playing on two computers SNGs + FR cash games.

There is a license generator available on the pirate bay in case you're interested to play around with it. Check the bonusbots forum for support.

Edit: Found a link to the torrent:

well, i think i saw a thread on roulette and that is what got me think about the pokerbot again but I just see roulette as pure luck with no real way to give you an edge.

I have read about ways to give yourself an edge on poker and blackjack as there is an element of skill involved especially with poker where you are betting against other people and not the house.

I have never heard of a way to scam roulette besides the double up methods which just rely on luck and can easily see all your money disappear on a losing streak. but thanks for the suggestion! :)

heiska - That is just the information i was looking for, downloading now thanks! one last question which poker sites can you use this with? inspired again ;)

It works on Full Tilt Poker and Ultimate Bet.

Chance of winning with roulette is biger than fail...
Just bet on the same color and with every bet increse it... if you loose 5 times put all in on the sixt time because posibility that it goes six times the same color is one in a thousand...

Heh.

In roulette, what color came before your bet has nothing to do with what color comes next. The probability is always around 50% for the color you bet, no matter how many times the color you're betting on has came before.

nikucis, no that is definitely not true, I have gambled in casinos many times for fun and can easily go 10 black in a row multiple times during the night. Its not like poker pot odds where chances of getting a card become lower with more cards being played. with roulette the odds of black or red are the same every single spin!

Roulette is a losing proposition long-term no matter what strategy you use. In the red/black nightengale strategy mentioned above, simply look at the payout vs the odds. The payout is 2:1 and the odds are less than 50% (since if you're betting red then you win on the 18 red numbers and lose on the 18 black numbers and the 1 or 2 green numbers depending on where you're playing). Each spin costs you money whether you actually win or lose that particular spin or not.

You can win only in poker game. To win in roulette in the long run is impossible.
