Is article marketing still good..?

I want to post some quality article for my site but worried about that is still article posting works or is it good for seo in google eye..?

Still good but GREATLY discounted... Google is looking for link diversity. Make sure you have a huge variety of high PR links, edus, govs, social bookmarks, authority articles, contextual articles, youtube, facebook, ....etc

When talking about the SEO impact then the above is 100% true.

However, another important side of putting quality articles out there is getting traffic to the articles and using them to funnel human traffic to your site, rather than for the link juice that they provide. This still works exactly as well as it worked a few years ago, if not better as due to the recent discounts on SEO value these articles provide less people are putting their low quality articles out there, making yours stand out better.

do not use article directories full stop, just don't. Plenty of other better ways which will stop you disavowing links and paying the penalty later on. Just...don't

Yes article marketing still works, I've been using "syndication rockstar" plugin in my wordpress. It can auto syndicate your wordpress content to 50+ networks.

You have to be careful with what you define as 'article marketing'...

Most of us would now be doing 'content marketing' and wouldn't just be using artcicle directories, but also WP/WPMU plus loads of other 2.0 and social networking sites. Basically, anywhere that allows you to post 500-800 words of reasonable content and embed a link or two.

if you're talking PURELY article directories, then not that many remain now really; they were all wiped out last year, but there are still many WP content sites that allow posting with article software, although you'll need to scrape to find them. Plus obviously many link building systems now allow access to PHPFox, JCow, Izabi, ELGG, Dolphin etc. etc. which to all intents and purposes is still article marketing, just not on 'article directories'.

Yes, article submission is still working if you use unique article for each site, and publish it in ezine, article dash board etc.
