The Ultimate Amazon Thread Mark 2 - Q/A - Good/Bad

Hi Danny,

Thank you so very much for the amazing thread to help others. I really appreciate it.

I've recently started IM and been learning a lot from this forum. I'd like to get into Big A, but I have totally no clue about where to start.
I'm following your thread and learn a lot. I'm thinking to start with one of the MNS packages from this forum, because it comes with everything from professionally designed WP websites and keyword research etc. Though I'd very much like to hear your opinion if a newbie like me can start like that?

Thanks again for your time and contribution to the forum:)

Has anyone tried the Amasuite Azon tools before - Keyword generator, top10 analyzer, and Inspector ?
They seem pretty useful.

I am using them and I am happy with what they provide. It saves a lot of time and helps you to get the perfect products for your niche. Also it helps to digg easier into a niche and a find a profitable sub-niche.

This is just my opinion - one out of millions - I probably have tried more things than many - so that is my only viewpoint

* I definately would buy keyword research and domain name if you just found it for some reason impossible to do myself
* I would not buy a pre-made Amazon Site from someone else.

A Pre-Made Site is like buying a $50,000 house - where if you do it yourself properly it's like you have a $300,000 house.

So when you start making money - your $50,000 house is worth $55,000 but your $300,000 house is now worth $330,000

That is the difference to being successful with Amazon and not succesful with Amazon.

Anyway these are your decisions because every single person has different skills/budgets and time - so it's just impossible to provide just 1 solution to every issue.

Hi Danny,

Do you generally put the price of the item in the posting or do you use a button with "great deal click here" or something similar. I dont want to use an autoposter plugin for Amazon but keeping up with the prices would also be hard manually. Not sure of the best solution.

Product Boxes I use buttons no price - in reviews I use price because it is relevant to the buying decision - and I tend to use different price points.

I always use custom buttons if it is a button - overall from what I have seen/read text links tend to do better though.

How niche do you like to go?

As an example, say guitars: guitars, bass guitars, left handed bass guitars, left handed bass guitars 4 strings, left handed bass guitars 4 strings pink,

Thats 2 more general niches with 3 real specifics, what would be your thoughts when looking at deciding something like this?

Cheers Danny

Problem is I don't know much about guitars and how much traffic those examples would get....

but I would never make a site on the larger "guitars" I would always look for a smaller area for example - best guitars for beginners - left handed guitar straps .. something I know I can succeed in -- going for "guitars" would require a much larger budget - constant daily attention and an insatiable demand for content and social interaction .. maybe in the future I could move into something bigger but not just at this time.

I guess what I am doing is : not being a 2-3 page site but not being a 100+ page site -- I'm finding the gaps in the middle .. and if the site doesn't work I dump them.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner - while I am just about always logged into BHW on one computer/tablet or another -- I'm not constantly paying attention --- > as there is work to do LOL

Cheers

The $1 VPS for 6 months offer is expiring shortly at Web24 .. and the DMR discount has expired.

Also CMS Commander is down now to a 30 day trial - they aren't offering as many discounts compared to that XMAS time -- so once you got 1 or 2 sites working for you - and your ready to scale I would take advantage of CMS Commander to build out the rest of your sites - will reduce your time by 90-95%... and then you can cancel if you like.

Also I keep hearing a similar thing .. I am not a native english speaking person how can I do this.

Simple :
1. Buy PLR Reviews and give them to a writer to re-write for you.
2. Speak to Natasha Nixon or another writer - tell them what you need and have them write it for you.

It's going to cost you more money than the average person - but those are the solutions to your problem.

Thanks again for recommending Natasha, her content is amazing.
I also have one issue left - I can't think of general article topics.
For some niches it just seems that you can't write much general stuff.. One of my niches only has two general articles and it's hard to write reviews for too :
Why it's important to have x, how to choose the best x and that's it..

Get a Keyword Tool to generate some longtails and see if you get any more ideas.

Well the thing is these keywords are pretty much longtails.. With bigger niches I don't usually have this issue :)

Also, do you still use pinterest as well ? How exactly do you do it/did it, I have a pinterest bot but I've never gotten around to using it.

Well it would be best to speak to the Bot Developer and let them tell you how to use their Bot.

I can't provide support on every product available on the market...... I got to get to work and make some money .. cheers.

This is a n00b question. What's the advantage of having a domain name for each sub-niche site with just 3-4 articles and reviews instead of having a bigger site with different sections or even subdomains if you want to separate things a bit more? Specially after Google hitting EMDs...

Is the traffic driven by EMDs so important? Couldn't you just get the same with just, say, router-reviewsdotcom + wireless.router-reviewsdotcom, router-placement.router-reviewsdotcom, etc.?

I did some keyword research and found great keywords.Competition is weak, and the search volume is 1000 with increasing graph on Google trends. That's all fine and good, now when it comes to content i got a bit a problem.Im planning to buy it from Natasha but i have a question for you.
Since i didn't know what topic i should pick,i tried with google wildcard.I tried with my chosen long tail keyword that i got,but the wildcard didn't show any good results. Then i tried with the keyword only (without the long tail) assuming that it is almost identical/similar to it, and got some topics. Then i replaced the "article titles" "keyword" with my long tail keyword and analyzed the search volume for those titles. The result was less than 10 or more of them 0.Is it worth to write content for those titles if there is no search volume?I hope you understand what i want to say :).

These are the Article titles:

how do you clean a keyword
what can i use to clean my keyword
where to buy a keyword
what do you use to clean a keyword
best way to clean keyword
how to buy a keyword
tips on buying a keyword
taking care of a keyword
the best way to clean a keyword
how much do i spend on a long tail (different than mine) keyword
qualities of a keyword
how much should i pay for a keyword
picking a keyword
discount on keywords
what kind of keyword should i buy
how to pick a keyword

There are like 300 titles i got, but i only shared a few :).

Here is the thing and I have said it many times - but I don't mind answering it again.

What I do is very specific - I have researched/tweaked/tested and spent alot of money fine tuning something that works ... that is making laser focused sites with great content and what I think are sites that are better than the competition I face. I also dominate the keywords I target and I can maintain those rankings for very long periods of time.

When you talk about combining things and making larger sites - you are talking about substantial investments and issues that I don't face. Additionally your already trying to compete in much harder keywords and it takes time to really build out those sites to be the best in category.

So I'm not saying which approach makes more money etc .. as that is impossible for me because I don't do it the way your asking - so I just don't know.

Funnily enough I just had a PM from someone trying to build a larger site asking me why after a month he isnt getting more traffic -- its because of the very issues Ive described .. so you have to troubleshoot that with testing/tweaking until you find the "secret sauce" that works for that type of site.

Honestly I have no idea what your wanting me to answer ? Trying to find topics to write about your Site ?? I have no clue.

For me - I don't have these dilemmas of what to do - I pick my niche - identify my products and accessories I'm going to use - pick out products to review - pick out article titles - find great images - get the affiliate links - put it all together the best I can ... do some basic Seo - check traffic after 2-3 months. If it works well I add more content/do more advanced Seo - if it doesn't I just keep doing simple Seo until it does - or until 12 months are up -- if its still failing then I kill the site.

So again - I just don't understand what your problem or issue is and where your failing to understand what direction to go in ??

Also what is available to every person is simply to check out the competition - see what theme and plugins they are using / check out their content - how they use affiliate links and check their backlinks and use their high PR ones.
