What is your Driving Force?

Although, I Know that this is an IM forum, so most of the members over here would have money as their top most priority. However, I am looking for some diverse views and answers. Why do you wake every morning or spend sleepless nights slogging your ass to meet the deadlines of your projects or your client's project? What is that thing apart from $$$$, which motivates or instigates to work harder? Let me help you with some options:
Do you want a Beautiful and Luxurious home?
Do you simply want a comfortable life post retirement?
Do you want to give your parents a comfortable and happy life?
Do you want to help the needy or deprived?

I hope these options would have cleared my question. Personally speaking, my driving force is to be an inspiration for people around me. I want people to look up to me and motivated by my actions. Apart from this, I also want to become an immensely successful entrepreneur because there is a general misconception in my family that online income can't be trusted for livelihood.

Steve jobs was a great marketer. He has become a legend all thanks to his highly motivational ideologies. It's good to be an optimist and possess creative vision.

I want success from IM for the following reasons:

1) You can do what you love doing IM or at least in that niche
2) IM is something that interests me and I actually have a passion for it
3) I want a lot of money because money is a tool to do what you want in this life, it shouldn't be looked at as an object rather a tool like twixx said I WANT FREEDOM
4) I want to create whatever I want that interests me down the road e.g. open a restaurant with my own food ideas, help a friend open his life wish bakery etc....
5) Last but not least to help my family and people who deserve it

Yeah..lets say my dream is to have enough money to make sure my kids and family live OK and i want to be able to help others, not in the way to give away silly amount of money and act like some billionaire...just to give some for the ppl who need help from time to time. And i see ppl like that every day, it breaks my heart when i see people searching for food in trash cans . I dont know why...but every time i see that i realize how lucky i am, even i dont have much...i still have food and place to live.

I want to be my own boss, travel around the world (part of the family migrated to China) have a sh1t load of expensive cars.....but that's just dreams for now. Focusing on making the same amount of money online as I do from my regular offline job.

@ MachineLord Contentment is one of the best qualities a human can possess. I feel depressed, but we can't do much for the needy unless we are making $$$$$ per month. Going by your comment, you seem to be a good human being in the real world.

@AtomicDonkey I believe that a majority of IMers enter this industry solely because they don't like working 9-5 jobs. Your dreams will become reality. I remember a popular quote, "What we conceive, we can achieve". All the best.
