Help i am beeing blackmailed by another webmaster

send that to adsense, there is no need for this kind of junk on the internet, get his site banned.

Just install the various clickbombing plugins available for Wordpress and send him a big Fuck you meme. That should be enough and you can tell him that you will post his URL on this very forum where everyone will literally rape his site :P

stay cool and keep calm, it's good to not reply his mail and focus on your website, let the dog barking and eating your dust

cheers!

supereek, forward that email to Adsense. Years ago my adsense got disabled because of mass clicking. I was lucky that they gave it back to me, but I know for a fact that it can happen.

Go to Google forum ask the question and seek help there.
Usually Google approach for this case is they can easily identify repeating clicks but they will not help small publishers because they always think it's not Google job to make the thing easy for publishers and it's publisher responsibility to take care about it.(Just like when you paid someone do something you don't expect you going to help him.) For them it is much easier to disable problematic publisher then help them solve it since most of their system is automated and new small publsihers are keep joining everyday. They will expect you to take down adsense completely on the web and wait till you solve with the person.

Suggestion:
1.Take down adsense for week, inform Google to see whether they got reply you or give any suggestion.
2.Find open source script for ads serving which prevent ads appear on same IP, cookies and few more option to add it urself.
3.If unlucky still doesn't stopped him then just go adsense appeal. Usually they value ur content and stuffs.
4.Denied appeal, move on to other ads.

Another solution I would advise(If no reply from Google for long)
Find a big publisher website that serve adsense and copy their adsense code down put on your web. Reply with the jackass say click as much as he like because you will not get banned coz you know some secret. When you free you make a screen send him say thanks him you had make $100, ask him do more. After he click for long and see the ads still keep appear you make big buck he will give up. Google usually don't ban big publisher even if they ban, you not care it :D.

If you want really want to have Google support you try be more active in their new products. Occasionally I got invited to their activities in Singapore like 1 to 1 suggestion on my web SEO/ webminars/ conference. There you ask question will get more attention.

GENIUS!

only question i'd have is this - do you think there's any risk that G woulld be be able to connect the dots and see that you're running somebody else's adsense code on your site? im not an adsense man so i dont know how it works, but either way, what a brilliant bit of lateral thinking.

as for the o.p.'s dilemma, he hasnt stated whether or not his competitors site is a web2.0 or the blog is sitting on a named domain? if its a web2.0 blog you cant identify the owner of it but if its a named domain you can obviously do a WHOIS and get their details, from there you can find out which other websites they own.

once youve got the rest of their websites youve got a lot of options available to you - i.e. theyve probably got adsense on some/all of those sites too. if so, id think in terms of neutralising him as a threat. take him out silently and subtly.

silently: dont reply to his email aggressively, dont make any counter threats - either ignore him and dont reply at all or implement Cindy Wong's suggestion and place another publishers adsense code on your site.

subtly: clickbomb the fuck out of some of his other websites so that he when he gets banned he doesnt connect the attacks with you (as he wont realise you know about his other websites).

failing that and if its not your style, providing Cindy Wong or somebody else can confirm that G are unable to see whose code youre running on your site, you could even put HIS code on your site, then provacatively email him back telling him to do his worst so that when hes clickbombing your website, hes really unwittingly attacking his own adsense account and bringing about his own adsense ban...

mind you, as Confucious said "WHEN you prepare to walk the path of revenge, dig two graves first..." (or something like that)

ignore it. in case something does happen, send this out to google.

So I can ban sites from adsense just by few clicks on their site. Really? Is adsense that bad?

Pretend to be scared, say sorry about the mistake and say you would never foray into his territory of "His Keywords" and try to get his site url and next head over to fiverr and gift his site a super low quality xrumer/ SB blast. He would never mail any other webmasters in his lifetime.

As BB says... Keep Calm!

If you are afraid of something, then know that it's going to come after you to haunt. If you face it with courage and calm, it's going to turn and run with its tail in between its a$$.

Why are you afraid of losing your Adsense account?

Sleep well, Adsense isn't that big in life... and do everything to save it though, but like a Fighter who's sure going to come back with the head of the enemy. :)

Someone has threatened you? Go punch his nose and make his tongue hang out. Stop crying and fight, man. Most people here have made their life abundant without Adsense, and if time comes, you too are going to make yours without it.

Got it?

:)

Report him to everyone that might have an interest and more besides (Google, his ISP, email provider) and collect whatever information that you can about him. At this point, don't reply. Engaging with him is just going to put wind in his sails. If you bait him, he'll escalate his campaign and if you give the impression you're scared he'll try and press home his advantage. He can't own a thought. As long as the necessary authorities are aware and you follow the good advice in this thread he'll just burn himself out.

Okay i have encountered someone like this before, its very simple and amusing to counter this.

Solution, Remove all of the Adsense from your site for about 1 week to avoid the click bomb create your own ads that look just like adsense ads, click on like 1 or 2 ads people have on there site and grab the destination URL, this is the tricky part and i cant fully remember how to do it but you want add the URL into a IP tracker code and then imbed that into the fake Adsense ad. This sucks because you will be losing clicks and therefore money but better than loosing your adsense, Then simply wait for the click bomb chances are he is a complete moron and will just click spam your ads via his own IP address you will then have a massive list of clicks that came from his IP you report the IP to google for click bombing follow the report up with a link to the email he sent you.

I am not sure if this is a coincidence or if the big G actaully did this themselves but when i did the exact thing the site was DE-indexed about a month later. I no that google will be able to track the IP themselves and maybe thats why because he managed to click bomb my site for about 6 hours then i removed and did this but it was funny as hell.

Perfect.

You really should do this.

Thats the problem with adsense, you are at risk of assholes like this.

Can you use something else like CPA network or different methods for converting traffic?

Try to get as much information on him as you can, open a new post here on BHW with a title something like "Wait for my signal to finish this bastard guys", then post all his personal information in the post + his URL and all the URL's of his other projects, adsense account, IP, real name, google streetview image of his front door ...
Send him a copy of the post and tell him that if you receive just one little click on your adsense from him your friends at BHW will destroy his entire business lol
