Greetings everybody, I just bought and activated 2 NetSpend prepaid cards. Can those be used to get verified on PayPal?

Thanks for the attention, regards!

This is to verify your BANK acct. The card is to verify age. Two different things. You can't load money onto these cards from Ppal, you need a real checking or savings account. The Net spend card is a preloaded debit card. They are completely different.

Hi, and thanks for the reply. So basically I can't use these NetSpend cards to link them to Paypal, or to load them from my online banking?

This is blatantly wrong. I have a netspend card that has an account at meta-bank(the online bank for netspend). I recently used the metabank account for paypal and have no problems. Even got a paypal debit card. Literally, a month ago.

The only time I have seen that error s when you made a typo submitting the information, or you tried to use a namer that did not match the account. I reied my wifes account first and got the same message, as soon as I used the card in the same name as the paypal account,, no problem.

Thanks for the reply. It does sound fair now. I used two different names, and it's obvious that screw things up. On the other hand neither my Wells Fargo account nor Chase agree to link these prepaid cards so I can add funds to them.
