As far as I know posting links and getting other privileges has to do with your post count, as well as with account age.

So get posting and soon enough you'll be able to post links, do PMs etc.

Yeah, I know, you probably didn't notice. Anyway, give him a break, forum posting
is not so easy for everyone, especially on such a site as BHF since a lot of topics
have already been covered. I wonder why there isn't a guide here on how to forum post
effectively.
