Hi everyone.
I was wondering about the different ways you guys get through a day of work. We all have our bad days where we've got to force ourselves to finish our work; procrastination is rarely an option as it robs us of our leisure time later in the evening. I do lots of different services for my clients but lately I've had plenty of orders for articles and writing them all is burning me out.
To keep myself going I decided to help myself to some scotch and work with a small buzz. I use the dragon tool to write my articles and as you know, writing with dragon is a lot faster since we all talk faster than we type. For those who don't have it, here is goldenglovez thread on it. Here's the fun part, rather than talking as I normally would, I've been talking like Arnold Schwarzenneger to keep myself entertained. The best part is, my articles take on a more authoritative voice and it's actually increased productivity! Thanks the buzz, it feels more like I'm goofing off instead of working.
So how do you guys deal with off days?
*EDIT*
Be sure to start a new profile on dragon if you try this out. Dragon learns from how you talk and unless you talk like Arnold, you'll mess up your profile pretty bad after 5000 words. I actually screwed up my original one pretty bad.
