Hi If you want to improve alexa rank, thought that doesnot matter ... But then also if you would like to good alexa rank , Install their toolbar or addon and set your site as homepage in browser, try to visit daily 10-20 times your site . It will be improving day by day ... i have made bookmarking site 2 yrs ago reached to 20000 then i closed that site ..... Bookmarking site it improve fast as maximum webmaster visit they already have installed alexa toolbar so ..

ya that can also be nice idea but alexa rank not matter so why to waste time for or money for bot and proxies .
 
Installing alexa widget on your site help too.
 
Alexa ranking is based on the traffic of your website. So increase the traffic by doing some SMO activities. It will help you to generate the alexa ranking.
 
If you improve the Alexa rank with bots you may also think at the bounce rate and other data Alexa shows. They won't look natural at all iMO. Also, since Alexa also shows the rank in specific countries, you may have to use bots with proxies form the countries you target.
 
What's the use of getting alexa traffic by the way of "visit daily 10-20 times your site" ? Totally useless, if i'm right!

What's the use of increasing Alexa rank by your (blackhat) method when you got no ACTUAL sale/traffic?
 
Do you really care about your alexa ranking? I would be more concerned about New vs Unigue visitors. Time on site and page views, referred by, keywords used, etc..... Why waste time and energy, start using Google Analytics with free training.
 
They have stated in their site that putting their banner or instaling the toolbar has NO EFECT in your site's ranking.

Alexa rank matters.. not only it helps in your overall ranking, but also in getting high paying advertisers.
 
Alexa is overrated and inaccurate.

All Alexa tells you is which sites have more traffic with the Alexa toolbar installed. According to their stats, the warrior forum receives more traffic than:

Squidoo
Plenty of Fish
Download.com
Fiverr.com
TripAdvisor.com
Forbes.com
Hp.com
Hulu.com
Pandora.com

Anyway, I'm not saying Alexa is a waste, it should just be taken with a huge grain of salt. So I wouldn't invest too much effort in trying to improve your Alexa rank.
 
just get more and more traffic . use traffic exchange with anonymous sources and change the referer Url .
 
for blackhatters Alexa doesn't really matter much, however if you run a blog and sell banners, advertisers definitely want to verify your alexa ranking, at least it should be better than theirs. As far as visiting 10~20 times a day and pushing your rank to 20K, that's pure fiction. I have a site with 200K pageviews a month and the best that I can ever do is rank it around 90K with Alexa, so visiting it a few times a day will only work if you are ranked 15 Million or something, but once you break the 1 Million mark, it's just not possible.
 
Its simple increase your traffic improve you website's insight and your alexa ranking will improve with in no time.
