I have bought a number of pages. All done through PayPal with no problems. I usually send them half the money, they make me page manager then I send them the other half.
Well, buying is different then selling. I think they can send the money then reverse the transaction with a paypal dispute because it's virtual property or something like that. I could be wrong, that's why I'm asking the question. Any other advice guys?
If it's a virtual good and they start a dispute, they will lose. If it's anything and they pay with their CC through PayPal and then they file a dispute, they always win. I've been selling services online for years and I've been through it all. You should be safe, unless they're trying to get really sneaky and pay with a CC and then scam you by fraudulently filing a dispute (assuming you actually give them the page).Well, buying is different then selling. Use escrow.com. Safe at both end.
western union is as safe as bank transfer.. just get the money first
I personally would make them pay you as it was a gift so they can not ask PayPal for a refund on the money since it was a gift.
Then make sure the cash is in PayPal as a gift and then transfer over the information so he can control the page.
