The Ultimate Amazon Thread Mark 2 - Q/A - Good/Bad

Get 30 day free trial of Photoshop when you have your sites all done - and just use that to make them

I saw someone yesterday use a review theme - but didn't organize it well and it did not look good .. so lesson to learn there.

It wasn't easy to modify Gonzo but at last I get it worked for me. hope you can have a look.

Thank you very much for your Helpful reply Danny. - I feel it was within the thread to ask, as i am no logo designer, and wondered what his process was considering he has over 30 sites. Q&A Thread. Looking at it it was a bit of a 'Spoon Feed me' question, which i apologies for. With regards to my current themes i have been playing with Two Themes. 1- Norin WP Theme 2- Knightzon, with the latter being my current favorite., these are available if you search on this forum as mentioned by Danny.

Hi Danny, So i am just setting up my first site, but realized i haven't got a logo for my new site. What would you suggest? Do you use logo's for your websites or just use a Text Logo?

I was thinking of using Fiverr and paying for one to be made but wasnt sure, as i do want a good looking logo and not a crappy one! Kindest

Search "AAA logo software", you will find a great logo make software. You can easily make a very pretty logo with it.

Sure - if you don't know ask ... and your right I never mentioned this before .. I just figured most people would do it themselves or hit up Fiverr.

As far as modding themes - yes it sucks and yes it takes time to figure out how everything works and how to do it quickly and efficiently -- but it is also a skill

You will learn many skills doing this that will be useful elsewhere.

Questions please post in the thread - Site Urls you can PM me and I will take a quick look for you if you want.....
(every question asked and answered here for all to see - is one less PM for me to answer)

Thanks.

If you haven't seen this offer - I'd suggest to take a look

http://www.web24.com.au/windowsVPS/10017/tryhyperv.html

VPS $1 a month for 6 months

Please keep in mind there are limits to what you can do with it - its not unlimited and don't forget to sign up 2 emails to get bonus traffic.

I got it and use it for YLH and AMF Bots made from Ubot ... also they will ask for an ID before they give you a server so its not for real BH stuff.

Anyway I'm sure some people will find this useful for their first VPS - cancel after six months obviously .. cheers

I'm planning to get video review from fiverr, but don't know if to get a review for the site it self or for a product in the site?

Get videos for individual products

Scrapebox - private proxies especially for posting
Ultimate Demon - shared proxies or private proxies

please post questions in the thread not via PM and I forgot the other one but I answered it in the PM .. cheers

I got this advise from Danny for arrangement of the website content: I'm posting here for the benefit of all.

Review review review

- I have searched for a way to rearrange the posts as I already published the posts, I found this plugin " Metronet Reorder Posts"

- For the accessories: what will be accessories for shoes niche?

Just keep in mind you chose a review theme - it may not look the same in a magazine theme

alot of setup on those is done in the Theme Settings - telling it how many reviews to display and how many posts "articles"

also I know nothing about your niche - and the prices - it's not one I would have chosen myself

but if I was selling Shoes - then you would have to have scarves/belts/handbags and other accessories that match shoes.

Anyway that is for you to figure out - because yours is different than what I would have picked - and I don't really feel like going and researching
your niche or competitors - as I have my own work to get done today.... you need to reduce all this time your spending way down -- you definately
need a better process from start -- > finish.

Hi Danny, i am wondering what Plugins you are currently running on your WordPress sites? For SEO, Posting, If you use Star Ratings for Reviews etc... Apologies if you have covered these already. I am currently only running Google Analytics.

Well - you do need Plug-Ins I feel to get the best out of your Site.

Last time we discussed this people were very adamant as to what they wanted to use and what they didn't -- I tried to explain that many plug-ins need configuration especially the Seo ones - otherwise they will go overboard with information - that can then actually hurt your site.

So if you don't mind can we discuss it tomorrow - as I won't have time to really come back to the thread today.

I've looked at quite a few sites today - and I must say the quality of Site has risen dramatically from what I used to see - I can tell people are really trying to make
the best site they can and not just build cookie cutter basic WP Sites .. so I am really happy for those people........... the one thing I will say is that just make sure
to look at your Buttons and Text affiliate links on your site.

If you look at many of the examples we have looked at that may help you organize your site a little better ---- also take note of your menus and organize your
reviews / articles / videos and anything else you use on your site.

Cheers for now.

Plugins I use : Please Note you can use whatever you like -- its totally your call -- BUT if you use Plugins - Please make sure you learn what they do and to configure them correctly -- some Plugins are not set and forget.

Hi Danny,

Thanks so much for the list of Plugins, i will take a look at these tonight and see which ones i need to use and will work for me now. I understand that they are not 'set and forget' and will take some time to try and learn them! Thanks again for your helpful reply.

I was thinking today - that alot of people get turned off using Amazon because if your new to IM then its too much to expect for you to understand everything and you would probably lose interest after a week // it's kind of depressing to work on something that doesn't show results for 2+ months // it is alot of work in preparation then you have to work further on your research/testing and Seo.

Well that's the bad news ... the good news is unlike other things in IM - this is a real business and it is long term legitimate income .... so personally I think the trade off - of having to learn all these things and execute them is worth it ... I hope the people that have been following along feel the same way ... all the best today .. cheers.

Had a good question on how many keywords should a site target.

Given I suggest that you have 5-8 pieces of Unique content - and then wait to see how you rank and how that turns into Sales - I think that's a pretty good guide where to start.

As a site shows you its profitable - then you can invest in more content and further keywords.

If I site doesn't perform like you expect just keep up simple Seo - and products are seasonal -- but if something ends up selling nothing or not enough to justify keeping it don't bother adding more content and just dump it after 12 months .... its not possible that every site will always meet your expectations .... remember its not about you - its about user satisfaction --> we are always just searching for our audience.

please remember this is just my opinion and how I do it - you may feel you have a better way to focus your project.
