Spoonfed method for noobs-$0-tons of pics

Isn't this good ole fashioned cookie stuffing?? Seems like the bigger concern here would be getting banned from Amazon, Adsense or wherever you'd be receiving commissions...

The best way to use it would be to funnel the traffic away from tumblr to your own site and then monetize
 
Thank you very much for the share, I've gotten a few clicks so far (4) and three followers (the script from JackSparrow didn't seem to do anything other then open up a bunch of profile tabs over and over again without following them sadly.

I do want to note that I noticed that only the reblogs I shared where I put the bitly link in the comment itself (as well as the source) were the ones to get me clicks.
 
Is, anyone actually making money with this method? I would love to know. And I'm not talking about those of you who have 1 million tumblr accounts either..

Not yet, I am just doing a very small test run (literally putting in very little effort) and I already have 16 clicks and 12 people following my account. So I can see the potential. I am not using an affiliate link though, I am just linking to a friend's GPT Referral site, since I currently don't have any use for this traffic.

I am actually about to make a simple site and give this a proper chance. As far as I can see though, this is a good method for getting a small amount of traffic (though enough of it to get a few sales if your splash page is decent), in combination with the script Stykes (not the full username) posted on page three of the JackSparrow's iMacro Tumblr Auto-Follow Script thread this can be pretty easy to do.

This will work with anything as far as I can see, the trouble you'll have is mainly in getting someone eager to buy a product coming from Tumblr (a place you go for a laugh).

I just dont see anyone making money on tumblr, unless thy r selling poison or have a very high scale operation going on. Its all little kids on this site.

Thank you. I do feel it is possible, though as I said it would be incredibly hard. Honestly, cheap items like joke books or magic trick tips might sell though.

so guessing noone is making any money on tumblr? Is is just one of those theory methods that doesn't work in reality..:rolleyes:
 
:D dang this method require time that people dont have..this is method is what i call working hard for peanuts.
 
I think I will try this. Do you need lots of followers to get solid results?

why do you say that? because it didn't work for you? just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it wont work for others.

I think many are missing the bigger picture with tumblr - There is much more to be gained - I will create a new thread with some ideas -

But please understand that if this doesn't work for you then it doesn't mean its not working - It just means you still need to tweak your technique -
