[Funny Shit] Just back from a MLM Seminar

My friend told me to visit the seminar and I could'nt say no. At first I was wondering whether what is all the fuss about. Once I reached I found that its nothing but a MLM (network marketing) thing

The seminar started where they were calling out the achievers in their company who earned between 300 to 500, 500 to 900, 1000 to 2000, 2000 to 10,000$. They gave out medals and other shit to them saying they were earning this much money from our business.

After an hour the company head came in and started talking about how much he earns and how he bought his BMW S series(which was actually parked outside the main entrance to show off) which costs some 100k$ here. He kept boasting saying he makes 30k a month as of now and in a year he will double it after which he will buy a Ferrari. :yield:

There was too much of bullcrap in the seminar and too much of boasting. The main catch was that if you want to start earning with them you have to buy their product which costs some 150$ and if you want lifetime income from them then pay 300$.

Ofcourse I just went for fun there to see how people can be so stupid. Is this kind of a scam? Do they really earn that much? I am not interested in this but this sounds too good to be true as they say they have produced more than 400 millionares and blah blah

It's like making a living from selling ebooks on how to make money online, you get it.

Don't buy into their crap and try to get your friends away from that shit.

Yup thats what I thought. They must be making money by selling dreams to those greedy people. But its not that easy to earn from this. Yeah, I told many of my friends not to fall for this.

My friend got into this shit. In our country though, he had to invest around $100 bucks.

Every week this MLM company invites people to its seminar, where they teach my friend and others on how to gain referrals. The trick is to pass your business card to every desperate folks you see around you. His other friends from this MLM network are always desperate to find people -- they stoop so low that they travel in public buses and hand their cards to everyone saying that they will buy them lunch on x day, x time.

My friend joined this shitty company because of the same reason -- he thought he made a friend while traveling, only to realize that he was building his own cage with no doors to go outside.

He makes zero money. And always keep talking about those guys in the seminar who have made it big. Anyway, long story short, I will never buy that crap any day. And if my friend wants me to join this shitty scheme, he will have one friend less.

They indoctrinate people to impose the MLM on their friends and family, leveraging their personal relationships to get sympathy sales (where the product costs more than if someone had just gone to the store to buy the equivalent product). Make a few bucks a month for each convert, and even more if they go and get their own converts.

To make enough to live on, you're basically becoming a MLM version of a jehovah's witness, alienating friends and family and complete strangers for a living.

True! I googled about that company I found a lot of negative comments saying its a fraud company. Such things should be stopped. In IM we dont fall to such low atleast where we have to scam our relatives but this is just above the top.
