Vision .. I know someone else said the price they thought was fair - it's probably a little too high for me justifying buying

$87 + $47 = $134 plus $80 for the site list (yearly) = $214 ... at that price I would just stick to using my UD - albeit your product is way better I recognize that.

I would prefer you come up with some sort of Bundle price - 2 licences / Site List for a year ... Deal ---> honestly think this would help your Sales more.

Anyway just my opinion - can shoot me down if I am totally off base by saying this.

Danny, thank you for your suggestion but I'm not sure I completely understand your proposed bundle pricing model. Could you elaborate a bit more please?

As for the WikiRobot pricing I don't think you've got it right. WikiRobot license is a one-time payment of $97 ($87 for BHW users) and that's it - you get your lifetime license. You don't need to subscribe to WikiBase - that's completely optional and meant for users that want hands free solution. You can of course scrape your own wiki lists, buy them somewhere, get them from your friends, etc. But if you do want WikiBase then subscription which grants you access to Wikibase costs either $39.95 per 6 months (or calculated $79.9 per year) or $10.95 per month. You can cancel WikiBase subscription anytime you want. I'm not really that familiar with UD, but from what I can see it's $47 per month which totals to $564 per year, so all in all WikiRobot+WikiBase is way cheaper.

Well no - UD is $349 one time and it does everything PDF/Web 2/Bookmarking/Wikis/Articles etc .. that's why I say $200+ is just too much for a single purpose tool for me anyway.

I bet your Wiki Tool is 3 times better than the one in UD - but like I said even for me - I just can't go to that price point.... also I'd prefer to see a licence where you can load it on 2 PC's but only use it on one at a time .. maybe that would help lower the overall cost... so more people could jump into a ...... 2 licence (1 at a time) plus Site List Bundle

Can't argue with you there - UD supports other stuff while WikiRobot is a highly specialized wiki solution (although it wouldn't probably be that much of hassle for us to implement all the other types of sites in the future, but right now our focus is on wiki sites). Anyway it's up to you to weigh in all the pros and cons.

Ah I see what you mean about licensing now. The concept is called floating licenses and we've considered that system in the past. The only issue we had is that the cost to run this kind of system is way higher than the current one. We do offer additional licenses at $47 though.

A huge Problem I have with both Wiki Bomber, and with EWP (which I still use and love for it's speed and stability) is the fact that neither of these handles nested spintax well at all. They both just about freeze when dealing with 3 layered nested spintax, where as UD, SE Nuke, even Sick Submitter glide through nested like butter. If your software can quickly process nested, you have yourself a buyer. So the question I guess is... Does it?

I'm just skimming through the guide, as I have submissions to run, so don't really have time to test. Do you not have functionality to post random articles from a folder ?! Sorry but that is absolutely essential for any wiki poster. Do you plan on adding this in the near future, as the bot is pretty useless without being able to have a folder with 1,000 different articles and randomly posting those. Nobody wants to just post the same spun article to 3,000 sites.

Yes, it supports nested spinning and I'd say it does a pretty good job.

TBS was our first choice but we were very disappointed with them since they wouldn't provide us with the developer license to implement it into WikiRobot. If we get enough requests we'll just buy the license and implement it, although we're not thrilled with the creators of TBS and their attitude.

We've never had this kind of feature request but it should be pretty easy to implement. So if I understand you correctly you'd like the bot to load random files (each file contains an article) from a folder and post them instead of project article (the one that you enter in project settings tab)?

Absolutely.... everything else I can live without. Best Spinner, etc. But this is one feature that I believe (and I'm sure many will side with me), that is absolutely critical to running successful Wiki Campaigns. Using the same spun article (even if it is nested) on 1000's of sites is a baaaaad idea. Much more effective to designate a folder that contains dozens if not hundreds of articles, either generated, or scraped and Mass spun. Wiki Bomber and EWP both have this .... If you could make that happen, I will feel that my money was well spent.

I'm looking for an alternative to EWP as it's no longer supported. Wiki bomber is good for its integrated content scraper, but I need something that runs at 200 hundred threads and has advanced sheduling capabilities. So far your bot fits the bill, but that 1 issue is a huge one.

I would certainly appreciate if that could be implemented. I sell a lot of SEO services... your bot will be put to good use, and would get good word of mouth

I'm not sure why it is failing for you as I have just tested it with my gmail account and it's working correctly. Could you please send us your log.txt file located in you WikiRobot installation to [email protected]?

Of course, we do our best to listen to our users. At least 80% of user's suggestions made during beta testing made it to WikiRobot. If there's a lot of feature requests all probably won't be included right in the next version (depending on request type and how busy we are) but if request makes sense for more users we usually do it.

WikiRobot is cool I must say, used the test trial and does nice job. Add 500 sites submited within 1 minute or so... verified backlinks and its all good. Not 100% sure if ill go for full version yet as I need to test other tools like EWP etc.

Im buying a license today and Im going with the $10 a month option for wikibase, if after a few months I decide I like the wikibase, can I just change it to a yearly plan?

Yes absolutely. You can cancel monthly plan anytime you want and go with 6-months plan (there's no yearly plan).

Yeah that's already on our to-do list. Do you have any idea which email providers are usually included in SEO software? I imagine that gmail for example would be a pretty hard nut to crack since they sometimes require phone verification and all other bunch of crap in order to set up an account.
