My Problem With Expired Domains ....

I'd like to use expired/aged domains from godaddy for me seo sites, however i see the following problem:

I buy pr2+, 2+ years old, 100+ links, link profile clean in majestic and ahrefs, indexed in google. The problem is that the domains don't even rank for their unique domain name. For example: domain mynewexpdom.com doesn't rank for kw mynewexpdom. Is this a problem ? When i rebuild the site under that domain will it regain strength ?

I'd say 97% yes it will rank for it's own name once it's back up with decent content.

They might be penalized, I've seen it happen a lot. If that is not the case, once you set up site, throwing a bit of social bookmarking links at domain root with just branding/URL keywords usually helps.

I spent quite a lot of $$ on about 30 domains. All had the default godaddy austion landing page and don't seem to rank for anything now. How long after I added the new content the domain should get back ?

If you don't do any promotion (link building) 3-5 days till new index and PR are updated, will go loads faster if you do a bit of socialaddr/similar campaigns - just throw them to the 10-15 most authoritative social signals sites - StumbleUpon, Pinterest, Reddit, URL.org/etc - helps A LOT to get G's attention to new stuff.

Am in too that! If the site have info: in Google, it also has real value on Google. So you buy the domains and post the unique contents on that, it will helps to improve your rankings.

Plenty, depends on budget. I personally start with slow socialaddr drips but basically any automatic software that can create social bookmarks will help.

Get a plugin called "link juice keeper" or similar and put it on - it will 301 redirect all the links that otherwise would land on 404 page to your domain root passing link juice. If you make blog look good, those links might actually stick.

Another good plugin to put on is Google XML Sitemaps and Better WP Security - all are free to use but do a decent job at securing site and informing SE's when your site gets new content.
