Yeah, in it's simplest form that's what it amounts to. But when you can get a proxy for a $1 pm you could buy one for each day of the month and use it for that day, as long as you're more than covering the $1

Just curious is there something big G is able to do that would know it was you clicking the ad given you're using new IP each day?

I lost my adsense account (with $12,000 in it) when Google claimed I was clickspamming when I wasn't.
They eventually gave me $8000 - though neither I nor the original advertisers saw the other $4000. Thieving ba$tards.

Click spamming has been done to death. There are bots that rotate IP addresses and either do it to add to adsense earnings or to drain a competitors adwords account funds
Google are pretty hot on this, and would rather blame innocents than let real claick spammers go.

They know confidence in their entire business model depends on the authenticity/trust of clicking and adsense/adwords.
If big business thought they could be ripped off by people simply finding and clicking their ads to either drain resource from them or to add funds to 3rd party adsense accounts, they would ditch Google's PPC quick - and that would be the end of Google.
It's not surprising then that they are very/overly/obsessively cautious and will wave the "ban hammer"/"adsense account closure hammer" at anyone they even THINK might be click spamming.
Normally they close it the day before your payment is due as well. Or at least it seems that way.
And yes - normally they KEEP all the money. Neither the adsense nor adwards account gets recredited. I had to fight for almost a year for my partial payment and send Google UK solicitors letters etc. And then it was only a partial payment.

Exactly. Google has very sophisticated systems in place to prevent fraud so you can count on getting banned pretty much instantly (actually, even worse - you won't get banned instantly - you'll get banned right before your cheque is due to being released, meaning that you'll have also lost any money that you've invested into proxies, etc.).

Sure, you could possibly make this work by building something very sophisticated yourself (send a ton of junk traffic to keep your CTR low, use a different VPS for each click, etc., etc., etc.) but if you did all that then you would spend much more on setting the whole thing up than you would make from those clicks.

If this was doable then it would be done by a lot of people and Google would be bankrupt by now.

My suggestion: put your energy into coming up with strategies that will make you money without you clicking on your own links or filling your own CPA offers. Much more beneficial both in the short run and the long run.

Then there's location. Well, using the IP just one time and hitting an adsense laiden site for a duration of say 15 mins during that one day would be low key I'd of thought? You would of course click through on other pages as normal, and hit an ad say every 4 minutes. Stay on that add page for maybe 1 minute... If using ubot you could have a new browser do some browser movements on your behalf.
The CTR would be low - you're only going to hit maybe 5 ads in the 15 minute time frame...

I would imagine the scenario I posted above isn't enough to get any serious revenue. It might bring you up 4 or 5 dollars per day. If you were already bringing in $3 pday on adsense earnings and jumped to $5 pd then that's 66% rise in earnings... this rise could trigger an alarm with big G, who knows?

Anyhow just wanted to put this one out there and see what you guys thought.

You're forgetting two important aspects here:

1) Google have a ton of information about your traffic, your visitors, as well as even what other sites your visitors visit. Based on all of this info they can spot you quite easily.

2) Google aren't afraid of terminating accounts based on false positives, so even the slightest alarm bell can easily cost you your account and all of the earnings that you have in this account, including legitimate earnings. And boom - you're also out of the $3 per day legitimate earnings in the future unless you partner with someone else who has an Adsense account, and even then your site could easily be blacklisted, meaning that your partner's Adsense account will be terminated as well.

Similarly to Scritty above, I've also had my Adsense account terminated based on a false positive. It was a games website with very consistent traffic, but at one point the CTR increased bigtime. Shortly after this, the account was terminated with no explanation given (that's always the case), but I can only assume that it was due to the CTR increase as it indicated that there could be click spamming going on. In reality, however, the reason for the increased CTR was a new version of the video game that the site was about coming out, which triggered increased interest in clicking on related ads. That's how simple it is to get banned from Adsense - even when doing nothing dodgy at all - now think about your odds when you're indeed doing dodgy stuff!

meanwhile tiny people with weird eyes and funny writing are hammering adsense and other networks with 1mil+ zombie botnets. and i'm not talking about this which is the newbier way. dont be upset, google needs the money they stole from you to pay smart people solve unsolvable problems meanwhile slightly adapted spam techniques from 2006 still work in the SE if you do it right.

all google has is scare tactics and misinformation. if they loose that they probably loose everything.

back to the + points for them - they do have best network of this type and SE even with all the BH stuff going on. fact is they make money, advertisers make money, publishers make money. win-win-win. so even an incident that would affect their image/trust wouldnt crash them because money talks. i have a buddy who was making tens of thousands from adsense with thousands of spam sites. all 100% spam. they would ban individual sites from time to time, he'd read a new domain same day. they never banned his account. this was a while ago so maybe now they're more aggressive but whatever. were there's will there's a way.

Maybe reading what others think will not work for you. So let me tell you my story.

Don't click on your own ads. You always leave a footprint. The easiest one is going to your website directly, typing your url, then you click on an ad, then you spend 5 seconds on the page etc etc.

It doesn't work. If it does, its not worth the effort. Better other people clicking than me. I make more money.

I did this some 8 years ago. Got a lot of money for 2 months. The account was banned. Now I have to use my husband's name for my adsense. If the bugger leaves me for a pretty blond, i'm damned.

Is it worth it? Yes. You will make a lot of money quickly. Is it really worth it? I'd rather others click.
