Make Money on Youtube

Alright, so I created a new youtube channel and uploaded 2 hilarious new videos (doing fairly well), i have about 17,000 views and almost 5,000 subscribers.
Here's my problem though. I only have $4 on my adsense from profit.

Anyone know any good techniques for making more youtube money, and also getting popular?

I read somewhere that in addition to adsense profits, you also get $2.25 for every 1000 views.

Is that true?

A very good way to get natural traffic on your channel is to view related vids and post on them and bump your post up.
I sometimes do it out of pure entertainment and IDK, I must have a natural posting talent, a ton of my posts gets a
f load of thumbs, sadly though someone always comes around and replies to me, which pushes my posts off the top.

Anyway, just interacting on youtube, gets me traffic,and subs.

Question, are you just uploading vids by other people or are your vids one of a kind?

I was considering downloading a shyt load of niche ideas, then creating my own unique vids.
such as "best touchdowns" "funniest sacks" "worse AGT auditions" etc.
Would youtube allow that as being unique content and approve the channel for partnership?

Is just like me, im have a channel whit 10 videos 10k suscribers, and in one year im only do 65$ Dollars =( im dont now how to make moree money

I believe, and I may be wrong - that the types of ads affect your $$. I knew a guy who made a political channel and he was generating 1k per 100k views (supposedly) Again he may have been bsing but if that is right then it is probably the audience targeted is saturated?

I have never heard of the 2.25 for every 1000 views, and im getting about 3k views a day and only getting about 0.50 ;/
We make the videos ourselves. Also, whats your channel, would love to check it out.
Also, do u know how we could get more popular/more adsense money? Would u mind passing the video around? I would honestly PAY for you to help us out

Get a small blog and do add some videos there and seo a little to ur blog i bet you will have much more than that...

You must have been inspired by LAHWF, Jstustudios.. youtube pranksters have become very popular. LAHWF's definitely making a living from youtube pranks, over 800k subscribers. You should try selling t-shirts and wristbands for the big money maker. Channels who do that are Vitalyzdtv, LAHWF, Edbassmaster, PrankvsPrank, Jstustudios. The thing is ppl have to gravitate to your personality and the uniqueness you vibe in your prank videos. I'm trying to figure out how to make a profitable youtube channel. I have a welsh corgi but he's usually too lazy.
