This would have summed up things for you. I agree that giving Neg Rep is bad, but why there is need to cry about that. Take it on the chin and Just Move On. You're getting so many + Reps on this thread, so if you cry about a Neg Rep, then it doesn't look good. If you really have a huge problem with people Neg Repping you, then simply message a mod about the same. They will look into the matter.
Although I congratulate you for your "achievement" of reaching 500 posts, but I don't know what the fuss is all about. Assume if everyone out there starts a thread after he/she reaches this mark, then what will be the situation of this forum. I know that I may be neg-repped for this post because I am going against the conventional mindset, but I am being frank as I this. I know it may hurt you and a few others, but the fact is, we are here to make money not to bother about those green sticks, thanks or posts. They are immaterial. I know now some people will throw the same age old argument that this is lounge and everything is fine here, so does that does that mean I should start a thread because I finally completed 50 posts. Another guy should start a thread because he got 100 Reps and what about that guy who just hit 1000 Reps, common he must start a thread. This will go on and on without any end whatsoever.
Anyways, enjoy the moment, but please avoid sobbing about Neg Reps. It doesn't look good from a senior member like you. If I have hurt anyone through this post, then I am sorry, but I was being frank.
