Ranking .de domain

Hello,

I would like to ask your opinion related to my situation.
I have one domain domainname.com 11YO and domainname.de 2 weeks old.
They have no links just the age is different.

I m planning to make start building the site and i don't know which one to choose.

Can i ask u why? Seems like google likes more .de and the competition is not so strong.

Competition is based on the search term - not the domain suffix. Although, if you're targeting Germany like it seems, it might be wise to use .de as the main domain, and just forward the dotcom to it.

IYou want to rank in google.de? If so, I would personally use the .de, but the .com, since its aged, could also be good. What I would do is I would use the .de for the money site, and then use the aged .com as a tier 1 and blast that one pretty heavily, since its aged, it should be OK.
