Does anyone want to compile a list of adult fanpages, this would make things go a lot faster for everyone, and hell we could even cross-promote our own pages on each others pages.
I proposed this exact idea in the Facebook section of the forum and I just went to get the link but it's been deleted :/
There was some interest and now I can't contact the people who got back to me.

No recent updates??? I think Kevin quit from his journey when he saw that his fan page has only 50 likes after 3 weeks... Guys don't be naive!!! I was also naive but this guy is just building his reputation on this forum... As many of you I also started to build fb fan page, same methods using and nothing... So, don't waste your time, invest your time in something what is more important. For example writing articles for your website... Cheers

Dude have you not been reading? He's in the thousands already. And for some, facebook fan pages actually help so it's not wasting time. Also there are different methods to getting likes for different niches. Go ahead write your articles for your site. I'll continue on with my facebook page and working out different methods. I'm sure others will too since facebook is a good source.
And there's a concept called trial and error. You should try it. Just because one method didn't work for you doesn't mean you should give up and tell others to give up on that too.

Dude I was doing exactly same method like him, as I write above... It's not so easy and this guy is writing about 500 new likes in one day after one week... I was reading this discussion from the start and I followed his updates... I know about facebook much more than you can imagine, I have several fan pages with over 20k fans but those pages were done before, and after facebook started with new rules it's very hard to go viral and get so many fans in one day... You can continue and try to build your fan page if it's important for you but I don't believe this guy... He can post fan page here and we can see every day how many new likes he has... If it's true I will be first who will apologize to this guy...

My fanpage is 2 weeks old and is currently sitting at 2700 likes.
I started another one about a week later that is currently around 700 likes.
I am sure it is highly dependent on the niche you chose though. Some things are just more popular than others and will draw people in faster.

The problem I have with fb are a) the fb fan pages are full of arabs, And we all know we cant sell to arabs (or should I say they dont buy shit) and cpm rates for those countrys are also low.
b) even when the fb surfer clicks your link to your site they only stay for 10 secs. one page view!
This is from my little experance anyway, still a fb noob.
