this is the original list. I am the one who created this list. And currently in some days around 1500+ directories I will be posting again and that list will be niche list.

one more thing....I'm seeing less and less directories in the top 1000 of the searches.... do you think its still worth it?

Nah this is my personal list on which I do manual directory submission. I am hoping a semi-automatic submitter kinda thing like sikandar said.

I use digixmas directory submitter, you can free submit to about 100 directories or pay $15 for submission of each site to list of 1500 directories. Its not automtaic but you just have to choose category and type in captcha where needed. Its really quick and easy to use, bit costly but well worth the trial
