Anyone know any other freelancers that will configure the servers nice without paying 300? I hired one and he botched it up. No point in dropping astronomical amounts of money over and over again for people that don't know what they're doing. PMs would be appreciated

At least not for that kind of work. Ive configured my 2 servers and i know that good work takes time.
300$ is OK, as long as they do what they are paid for.

This method DOES make money and I personally have made money from it. Even if you hit spam folder you will make money and a good return on your investment. BUT, you need a VPS that will not shut you down due to spam complaints. If you send out emails you WILL get a spam complaint within a day or two and your VPS will get suspended. The question is, how to find a VPS that won't shut you down or at least is tolerant of a few spam complaints each week? If you can find a way around that the money is really easy.

$300 is not a lot of money.. but paying $300 not getting it done, having to pay another $300 and then god forbid that's wrong.. and then having to pay even more money starts to add up. I think I'll just do it all on my own - better to teach a man to fish.

Well, I've just had Alex_Br07 setup two VPS for me with interspire/PowerMTA on. He completed them both within 24 hours and his support has been excellent. Can't recommend him enough.

I have been reading all pages, and i must say that i think it is a very interesting method that i would love to go for!
Although i don't have the required amount of posts to PM, i would love to have some more information on starting with a desktop mailer.

If I was just starting again I would start sending with a good desktop mailer (MailerKing), some mailing proxies, 30k webmail accounts (Yahoo's or Hotmails) and an OCR (optical character recognition) service. This way is much easier to understand and inboxes good.

The webmail accounts are no problem as i make them myself with Live Account Creator (same creator as MailerKing)
How much proxies do i need? And where do i need the OCR for?
Can you maybe help me a bit to get started with the desktop mailer setup?

Dear Patricbr;

i guess you have misunderstood the whole issue. the desktop mailers are not good when you send millions of emails per day? and they dont offer the headers rewrite nor do they offer any other addons.
product such as interspire and oempro, you can always manage the headers and you can also send millions of emails using interspire multi-thread addon. there are other too many advantages also such as desktop mailer occupies your system sending emails, while interspire is webbased system so it does not require any running system.
