Matthew, great teachings. Solid. Question regarding proxies. You use them in certain cases but don't in others.
Can you give general guidelines on when to use private, semi-private, and when it's okay to use public proxies. What is the general ratio between connections and said proxies in software such as scrapebox and GSA??
Oh, and a question I've never seen addressed is when people say proxies "burn out" from marketers using/abusing them, what exactly does that mean? Will they ever be used again or is it a few hours wait before the search engines recognize them?
I'm applying the content in these videos to three separate projects. Looking forward to good results.

Matthew, thank you for your videos. I've started to use your methods to get rankings for my web site keywords.
While writting articles i've realised that I do not understand how often I should use my keyword.

Hi,
I use semi dedicated proxies at all times and dont worry about ratios - if it's choking/getting blocked by Google turn down the threads or buy more proxies (I choose buy more proxies)
"burn out" is typically when they are banned from Google and other services
I've had a number of people email me with their results so far which have been impressive to say the least!
Just make sure the content is 'on topic' and 'relevant' and forget about how many times your keyword appears

Hello Matthew. I love your content and value you provide. I've been following you in your blog, in the other forum and now in this forum. I got question. I'm thinking of you using this strategy to bring back a penguin penalized site. Based on your tutorial on how to identify penalties.
My plan is to build all those web 2.0 with generic anchor text click here, visit this website, etc. and use article directories or wikis with naked urls. I won't be using my exact keyword because 9 times out of 10 before I was using it a lot when building backlinks before the penguin. My question is regarding tier 2 links and tier 3 links. How you would distribute the anchor texts for tier 2 links and tier 3 links? Do you also divide the percentage of naked urls, generic keywords and keywords?

Yes that sounds like a reasonable approach to take - I assume you have taken steps to ensure your problems are purely off site? A lot of people jump to the conclusion that backlinks are the issue without actually getting their hands dirty
With the tier 2 and 3 links you can distribute the anchor texts 'naturally' as you have described

I'm asking this because I've made a tumblr blog post about 'online form builder' and by mistake put S in the end of keyword so anchor text looks like 'online form builderS'. This blog post and my money site got 1xx positions in google for this keyword.
Other two blog posts has 'online form builder' anchor text but i do not see them in 'online form builder' SERPs.
May be I should add more 'online form builder' keywords in my web 2.0 posts in H2 tags, alt images?

I saw you mention earlier that ecom has its own challenges for SEO, what did you mean by that? How would this strategy differ for an ecom vs. other types of moneysites?

Yes I have taken the steps to fix first my onsite problems like tags, duplicate content issues, etc. I took advantage of the 1 month trial seomoz to check my onsite issues.
Thanks for answering my question. I'll distribute the anchor texts naturally also in the tier 1 and 2.

I would go more general with your keyword targets such as-
online forms
build online forms
online form builder
build form online
build forms online
That should mix things up nicely without too much risk.
Ecom has its own challenges when it comes to onsite SEO. Most platforms suck at SEO out of the box including the ones that say they don't.
In terms of link building though, nothing changes!

Great guide Matthew,without question owning as much of your first tier is going to be vital soon.It'll make your first tier alot more powerful.You add various factors to this guide such yahoo answers etc and really power up your linkbuilding.Use different hosts,use prepaid credit cards to reg domains,privacy on all domains etc.Expiring domains carry one big advantage,age.If you add the right content,video etc you can usually keep or improve the PR of the expiring domain in the next update.
Also if your first tier has the right content you're gonna get genuine links which is what you're aiming for.
