scrolled down for the replies instead . Many IMers have tricked google. If they didn't succeed, google would
not come out with updates to counter them. Of course it's getting difficult with all the updates, but it's not

You don't need a super high VPS. I have a shitty 1MBPS connection and a $500 laptop - thats what I've been using to rank my in Google for over a year.

I used to work for a big corporation that had a lot of coders, software engineers as they call them these days. Aaaand we talked about hardware/web software. I was curious because even at that time I had websites with heavy traffic. And oh wonder, I learned that if the software is exceptionally good/light you need less powerful hardware. Or simply you do not need so many servers to handle the operations people do every day. Just search whatever you want in Google and look what it says just beneath the search bar. Usually something like "About 829,000,000 results (0.33 second"


That is the time their software needs to pull the requested information! In my example it is 1/3 of a second for more than 800 000 000 results! This is lightening fast for those of you who don't have an idea what that means. That is not just the hardware. Its power is combined with lightening fast algos.


You may say they need computing power for crawling the web. So ahrefs, majestic seo and other tiny companies (compared to Google) are doing it will be no problem for G.
The main reason most of us hate Google is because they have the infomration and the computing power, that's it.

Article is bullshit, I've been "tricking" and flat out beating Google's algorithms for 8+ years now for some of the Most Competitive Keywords In The World (no joke)... lol

- Adult terms (check)
- Finance terms (check)
- Health terms (check)
- SEO terms (check)
- Internet marketing terms (check)
- Gambling / Casino terms (check)
- 1 word - ultra competitive terms (check)
- 3 letter words/acronyms - ultra competitive terms (check)

... and so on.

White hat, black hat, gray hat... all of it. Done it all, beat "the system" long term, will all forms of SEO.

It's about skill level, not black hat or white hat. You can get away with BH SEO long term and regularly if you actually know what you're doing.

In all honesty, Google's algorithms are shit. haha

I tell you why I don't buy services with fixed post, platforms etc. Not because they won't work. It sure will for a while, it could work for months. There is always a risk some filters may catch you. And what about that nasty competitors? You are just one spam reporting away from manual check to your link profile. And you are gone.

And yeah you start a new website and rinse and repeat. Is it worth the hassle? It does when your ROI is good but this system is still not so sweet like long term revenue to me. Even intelligent BH is getting troublesome. Separate hosting acc, etc etc, covering footprints constantly.

As I said experienced users adapt but many stick to some scheme far too long and don't look ahead.


You two I addressed first know very well it is hard to stick in top results with shitty website. Because your bounce rate is terrible, no social activity etc etc.

And one more thing. This new algos let some shitty sites in top 10 but top 3 is a completely different story. That is my point, most people who buy SEO services sign for top 10 but the real money are in top 3. That is where is hard to stick in large niches.

Two of my websites in same niche, one of them is number 2 the other one is 10th. First one earns me $150 a day and the other one just $10.

In my large niches I often see how intelligent BH websites with quality content climb to top 3-5 from time to time. Stick for a while and then sink into nowhere.


I do test constantly and check Google filters just to know where is the line. And yes you cant trick the system but very few know how to do it right and long term and to squeeze decent ROI.

All you who call G names and make money from organic traffic should think for a while what will you do if there was no Google? Working in MacDonald's probably



Anyway 2-3 people who participated in this thread are making real money. The rest of you better stop losing time rubbing you keyboards, talking bs. Just a friendly advice.

Didn't read the article, but I believe that there will always be loopholes around any big businesses so yes, tricking giants like Google are more times to becoming more creative

My question was... why would you compare an IMers computer power to Google's? Its like comapring apples to oranges.
Saying a person can not trick Google because G have 100000 servers and that person has only one computer is a very, very dumb thing.

There are thousands tricking Google with their $200 computers.
I tricked them with a computer that had 256mb of ram and a 1GHz celeron processor.
Another member made $80k off facebook with a notebook that had 6 keys missing from the keyboard.

This is BS. Whilst, I do recommend people to build quality, natural links, that doesn't mean black hat doesn't work.

I've been doing SEO quite well for 2 years now and I have been using heavy black hat links alone with my main money making websites. These websites make me a huge portion of my internet earnings and one would think twice before using these sites with black hat links. However, it's about how well you build your links. Anyone can get away with black hat SEO if you know what you are personally doing.

I've ranked lots of keywords myself using black hat SEO alone, and the rankings have maintained over the last few months (yes, it has beaten all updates too).

So.. back to your point: Tricking Google does work well IF you know what you are doing. And it does work long term - I've ranked a website for nearly a year now with pure black hat links.

I am not calling all of what you said is wrong, but must be weighed with a Devil's Advocate touch. Your logic is the same as saying that marathon runners are better competitors than sprinters, and that there is no merit in the sprint. Not all of us can be bond investors, and not all of us want to rob banks, but some of do quite well as second calling hedge investors!

I tried to explain this as simple as possible and I am trying for the last time.

For example computers make forecasts en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_forecasting. Powerful computers do many calculations and can predict certain activities before they really happen like weather predictions. The same applies to IM. That is the advantage of a huge computing power.

Man I've got my first SEO client back in 2005 (real estate uk) I played with SAPE mid 2011. And guess what, I outranked entire niche ruled by sape links with just grey SEO (insurance).


I did not start this thread to brag about me or to listen how good you are or to be offended by rude people. I just want a normal discussion.


You don't know me because I didn't want any publicity. But if you want to think of me as the little guy no problem it is your choice.

People, this article is not called "Nobody can trick Google". It is for average folks. I just wanted your opinion because if there is a place for shortcuts this is BHW. I am not looking for a place just to drop my link.

BH isn't bad if you can make bank, you do it. But most people can't.


I personally trained (at no cost) many kids to BH the last years, bought them tools etc, because their families struggled hard.


Service providers, think twice. Articles like this are even better for you. Because ordinary people will know that it is easy to mess up if you do not have skills and maybe will come to you if they like your price.
