I have just 4 words: google is my biatch.
And you're comparing a SEOers VPS to Google's Datacenters? Seriously? They have those DCs because they need them to carry out their operations.
You don't need a super high VPS. I have a shitty 1MBPS connection and a $500 laptop - thats what I've been using to rank my in Google for over a year.
Article is bullshit, I've been "tricking" and flat out beating Google's algorithms for 8+ years now for some of the Most Competitive Keywords In The World (no joke)... lol
- Adult terms (check)
- Finance terms (check)
- Health terms (check)
- SEO terms (check)
- Internet marketing terms (check)
- Gambling / Casino terms (check)
- 1 word - ultra competitive terms (check)
- 3 letter words/acronyms - ultra competitive terms (check)
... and so on.
White hat, black hat, gray hat... all of it. Done it all, beat "the system" long term, will all forms of SEO.
It's about skill level, not black hat or white hat. You can get away with BH SEO long term and regularly if you actually know what you're doing.
In all honesty, Google's algorithms are shit. haha
First thanks for your input, it is as I expected
I used to work for a big corporation that had a lot of coders, software engineers as they call them these days. Aaaand we talked about hardware/web software. I was curious because even at that time I had websites with heavy traffic. And oh wonder, I learned that if the software is exceptionally good/light you need less powerful hardware. Or simply you do not need so many servers to handle the operations people do every day. Just search whatever you want in Google and look what it says just beneath the search bar. Usually something like "About 829,000,000 results (0.33 second"
That is the time their software needs to pull the requested information! In my example it is 1/3 of a second for more than 800 000 000 results! This is lightening fast for those of you who don't have an idea what that means. That is not just the hardware. Its power is combined with lightening fast algos.
You may say they need computing power for crawling the web. So ahrefs, majestic seo and other tiny companies (compared to Google) are doing it will be no problem for G.
The main reason most of us hate Google is because they have the infomration and the computing power, that's it.
LOL dude.. come on.
You wrote a freaking essay on how google has a lot of servers and how they are returning millions of results in a fraction of a second.. right.
My question was... why would you compare an IMers computer power to Google's? Its like comapring apples to oranges.
Saying a person can not trick Google because G have 100000 servers and that person has only one computer is a very, very dumb thing.![]()
Its the skill that matters, not the computer you work from. (I'm literally laughing at your comment)
You do automate your SEO with software and you run it form your laptop/vps/dedi/ right?
For example you are making $10k a month. But what if you have 10 machines you could multiply your earning to $100 000.

It seems you are not opened for any discussions or theories. And your dictionary is a bit limited calling me dumb n-times. Are you sure your clients should trust your "whitehat twist" schemes? Old stuff different clothesMy father used to say stupid and rude people used to offend others. You didnt say anything constructive. I deff wont lose my time talking or doing business with you.

Coputing power is always a huge factor and it is working against you right now. For example with the tools you are using now you could make milions if it was 2001 aren you
9 reasons Why you can?t trick Google Do you agree with the article?
Just a quick note. You also state in your post - "Do not try to trick Google because this is not going to work long term and all your efforts will go down the drain.".
This is BS. Whilst, I do recommend people to build quality, natural links, that doesn't mean black hat doesn't work.
I've been doing SEO quite well for 2 years now and I have been using heavy black hat links alone with my main money making websites. These websites make me a huge portion of my internet earnings and one would think twice before using these sites with black hat links. However, it's about how well you build your links. Anyone can get away with black hatSEO if you know what you are personally doing.
I've ranked lots of keywords myself using black hat SEO alone, and the rankings have maintained over the last few months (yes, it has beaten all updates too).
So.. back to your point: Tricking Google does work well IF you know what you are doing. And it does work long term - I've ranked a website for nearly a year now with pure black hat links.
"#1 Google has humongous computing power"
"Just an asumtion about how many servers they have" - you know what ASSUMPTIONS get you - by the way common misspellings do not work in the current SEO field.
"I am not an engineer, for me it is simple mathematics" - As a software engineer, even if on an amateur level, I know that the larger and more complex the coding environment, the more likely there is that there will be coding mistakes as well a loopholes that others can take advantage of the subvert or use to their advantage, not the opposite.
"#2 You can't abuse Google Plus" - 30 dedicated dial up accounts connected to a well trained mIRC bot with Siluki visual queue controlled input that converse with the intent of link visit conversion says otherwise
"#3 Fake equal Real" - Again, a simple Linux box with cron supplied information set to pull in "at" sequences from a randomized time database does well for "human emulated" posting and even account "checking", even when not to post. (People read stuff, most bots don't, and even M. Zuckerburg knows this [G is not the only kid on the block])
"#4 Google updates more frequently than ever" - Makes it more fun, build it and they will come is so 1984 logic, white or black hat. Used to make bank with Geocities before Google even made it big... youngyun'
"#5 Youtube now detects fake views" - refer to #3 and quit using lazy, abusive reciprocity multi IP services
#6 Quality beats Quantity - type in "buy viagra" and point out the quality articles please. I do digress that there is a modicum of truth to this statement, but without quantity, the risk of underexposure is ever present and your chances of robotic or human virility on the internet is near impossible.
"#7 Google will put an end to Local results manupulation soon" - only those who do not understand the simplest in IP geolocation and even cell tower registration spoofing.
"#8 Algorithms" -All algorythms are systems based on mathmatics, just like the BHers. IF the "simplistic" methods of us manipulators are forever set to fail as they are limited, non human, and simply math the G reverse engineers to thwart, then they are also doomed to the same, thus the real reason for #4. Simply put Linear Algebra in a loop.
"#9 User statistics" - Refer to #3 and create your own.....
Conclusion
- Do not try to trick Google because this is not going to work long term and all your efforts will go down the drain.
While note always long term... my efforts have been well rewarded.
- Invest in great content to get peoples attention naturally.
... and automate its promotion for excelled performance
- Create custom strategy for your Social presence.
Write post and hope for the best out of others is far from custom.
I am not calling all of what you said is wrong, but must be weighed with a Devil's Advocate touch. Your logic is the same as saying that marathon runners are better competitors than sprinters, and that there is no merit in the sprint. Not all of us can be bond investors, and not all of us want to rob banks, but some of do quite well as second calling hedge investors!
Your domain is PR0. Come back when you are at least PR3 and I maybe even read an article.
