I shocked to see my serpfox account all website lost at least 100 spots but when i check it using USA IPs little to nothing change in all sites. Hope my sites will remain safe

Exactly, using USA ips there have been no changes. So hopefully its just UK servers down.

Serpfox usually reports moves earlier than if you check with US proxies. Maybe their proxies are closer to the main Google servers or something.

Just make as many sites as you can and promote each one in a different way. The best strategy ever.

I'm using Rank Checker and SEO Ranking iPhone app - both of which tell basically the same story. Any other serp checking recommendations would be well received.

Does anyone know what this update is to do with? We all now have original content, keyword diversity etc - now what?

Definitely looks like an update. Lots of changes; many clients have gone up, many down.

It'll take a few days to settle down before we find any patterns!

as of today 17/1/2013 I have seem my keywords do the same (but -position) and for my main keyword I disappeared at all

Within the last few hours there have been more massive changes to just one of my sites, the other 5 are all OK.

I must be doing something different to that one site....

Like Aproov says, better to wait a few days to see where we are end up...

EMD country specific domains seem to be dominating during the update at least. One of my competitors with a partial match, country specific domain and a truly awful site have just jumped to position #3. Their alexa rank is 21,000,000...they must think they've won the lottery today

There's definitely been an update or refresh of some sort today. Many of our UK clients have dropped. When checking in Google.co.uk with a US proxy, it's still showing decent rankings (due to data centers). We've seen some pretty big losses today.

All of my 6 sites are .co.uk. Only one has been hit, but hit bad.

I follow the same SEO procedure for all of them. Once Google has stopped dancing in a few days (hopefully), I will record what I have done differently to this one site which may give an indication to what has changed...

I think, this update affects only certain percentage of searches from .co.uk only. I am not seeing any affects in google global.
