So im in my room right. My room is in between my fathers and my inlaw.
The cable modem is in my room. So im with my gf.. "playing Tic Tac Toe"....my father opens my room door, turns on the light, hooks up the modem to send a fax in his room and then he just closes the door....atleast fukin turn the light back off after you already barged in embarrassing the shit out of my gf!! fuk!

And then its like nothing even happened..hes acting like hes fuking blind and didnt see shit!! like wtf!!

Haha. Imo it's worse if your mom walks in. Once your 18, you can move on out and not have to worry about stuff like that.

I dont live with my mom. Im 20, they live with me. My popz just came from DR like a month ago so he's staying here.

yeah ill be a dad one day..but ill always remember to knock before I enter!! geez!! Talk about stone age people!! Guess back in the days people never knocked! A fukin Geico Caveman would know to knock if you hear music and the lights are off!

EDIT: my room has a lock but on the door from his to mine its one of those double key lockes that use a key on both sides....so unless i take the key from his side..its useless.
 
It is best to communicate your growing up privacy needs respectfully to your dad, I'm sure if you tell him in a calm compose manner with your needs, he will understand, let him know when he was at your age those feelings he grapple with. Fax and lines could be relocated simply. But both of you gotta do this nicely

Well since he is living at your expense, you should be able to set some rules. I could understand if your living under your parents roof but if it's your own place, you ought to be able to wear the pants. Just say you and your gf are having some time alone, and he should get the message loud and clear.

yeah i would have been done that but..my father takes things too serious and if i was to do that, he would most likely feel uncomfortable after that and move out. :(
