My website was ranking #1 for it's competitive term before receiving the report and still holding but it's really too soon to judge the effect of this package but no one can underestimate the effect of high PR homepage links, THEY ARE VERY POWERFUL.

Try changing your site description.. I think you can get into the top 5 easily since you have that kw in ur title only and not in the description.
