I placed an order on December 17 for the $147/m package
with keywords at positions:
keyword 1 > NA (keyword 1 is most competitive at 9k searches/month local and is only considered medium competition keyword) the rest are lower competition keywords.
keyword 2 > NA
keyword 3 > NA
keyword 4 > NA
keyword 5 > NA
As of today December 14 here are my rankings:
keyword 1 > NA
keyword 2 > NA
keyword 3 > NA
keyword 4 > NA
keyword 5 > NA
NOT EVEN IN TOP 100 !!! OMFG!!
The onpage seo on my site is decent and my site has never been penalized and with backlink checker I see that they built very very few links if any. So I paid $147 and got about $5 worth of seo work done so for me this has been a waste of time and money. I will be canceling my subscription. Would be nice if I could get a refund for NO serp movement whatsoever.
Conclusion:
Do NOT USE and would NOT Recommend
From now on I will be rolling up my sleeve and doing the SEO myself. If you want something done right do it yourself. Watch me rank this shit in less than a month with less than $150 for most if not all 5 of my keywords.

1. Define competitive? If you are basing that word on the volume of searches locally then you are gravely mistaken. I just want to remind you that you are going after a product which is being promoted by at least 20 optimized sites and authoritative blogs and companies having a dedicated page on the product. I'm not sure how you have "learned" SEO competition but it seems you need to learn from better teachers/sources.
Here is the actual screenshot of your rankings.
2. I see one keyword inside top 100 for Google so that makes your point invalid.
3. We've managed to get you inside top 10 for 2 keywords and top 20 for 4 other keywords in Bing, won't you give us at least that merit?
4. If you're trying us out for 1 month and expect to see miracles on a heavily promoted product then you've come to the wrong service. I offer continuous off-site development for a site which is why it is called Defensive SEO.
With all these points given, would it also be fair to say to my fellow service providers that you embody a type of service buyer that deserves "Do NOT USE and would NOT Recommend" status?

Your being a little too harsh on the service provider.
Depending how competitive your keywords are it can take more than a month to rank.
I have seen websites with medium competition keywords at 10k searches a month taking 5 months to get ranked on page 1, and these websites spent at least $500 a month for 5 months. Thats $2500 just to get ranked on page 1.
And your expecting a medium competitive keyword at 9k searches a month to be ranked in 30 days for $147 a month?
Give it a few months before judging. SEO is not done overnight.
I will bet you the people whose websites saw fantastic rankings rocketing up after just a month had a niche and or already had a great backlink profile and onpage SEO already done, before starting the service.

Like i told you on skype i aint looking for 1st page miracles i only need to see steady movements on google but i dont see squat. At the end of the day its all bout roi. Like i said i will do the seo myself and can guarantee u i can rank 1st page because i've done it before with my own seo. Check my site back in mid feb and u will see first page. The top competitors for my keyword are less than 1yr old and all have just spam backlinks not something i would do. And for $147 you guys hardly built any links so yeah i got about $5 worth of seo work done.
And your buddies trying to back u up can go else where because results speak for themselves and there are no results to talk about. At the rate you guys are doing seo it will take 6 months to break top 100 in google for my 5 keywords. At least have enough va to do the seo work instead of taking on so many orders that you cant even handle the volumn anymore which i knew would happen.
I am free to give an honest review and thats what i did. My honest review and not being biased like you.
Good luck to all the other suckers that ordered.

Damn! Nice results there Subster! and with so many keywords, I hope you don't mind me asking how long have you been using defensive seo for with that project? I've also got 2 projects currently running with Veheme and so far I'm seeing dancing for the first month which is good sign.
