Hosting recommendations

I never thought I would run into this problem but over the last few days, my sites have been loading slower and slower.

So far today I have sent around 40,000 clicks to my landing pages and its lagging the fuck out of my server.

I've got a dedicated dual core processor at the planet and it obviously can't handle this traffic.

Need something ASAP

it's funny that someone should say, 'hostgator'. i'm there now and it's running slower than
frozen dog turd! i'm actually thinking of moving to another hosting company because of this.

tell me more about the vps. i may be interested if it's reliable and stable!

I just got rid of hostgator. They were awesome last year but my sites have been slow as hell the past few months.

I just switched to MidPhase last month and they've been really good to me so far.

i dropped lunar-pages because they were slow. and now hostgator has the same problem. i
also don't like the fact hg suspended my account, just because they thought my tools
were email harvesters! seems they've never heard of a file beamer.

they didn't even ask me via email first what my programs did. the fuqerz just shut down
my account for 3 hours! i spent 20 minutes on the phone (at 3 am) explaining that nothing
i have could be used to harvest emails or to send spam.

i'm glad i found out about private registrars, like namcheap.com. they make switching
hosting companies much easier. which i'm probably going to be doing soon if this keeps up.

Ha! They list Dream-Host as a good choice. Last year they were offline
for 3 days! :yield:

I've also heard complaints about Blue Host. The only one I'd consider is
West Host...

hostgator, one of my sites got 100k hits in a single day without any problems. They also have great customer service and minimal downtime. I better stop this I'm starting to sound like a commercial.
