Is buying FB pages against the TOS?

I'm buying pages, and not quite sure if it's against the TOS. Also, is there anything to look out for from dodgy sellers?

Yes it is against their TOS.

What does it matter FB doesn't know. Best way to do it is use the same IP that the original owner was using to manage the page.

At least when I sold a few of my fan pages thats what I did.

Im not sure how it works really, I think its against their TOS to sell a page, but not to buy a page.

I'm not sure you need to worry about this too much, some pages have multiple admins etc. Just don't go out and out advertising straight away and use the page naturally for a while. Even keep the old owner on as a user role with less privileges etc so it looks like you are just sharing the work running the page.

I buy and sell pages and never have a problem, because is not forbidden to giveaway a fan page or create new admin, so it s not a problem, they don't know that I sell it

But the owneship of the FB page is still under him. if FB bans his account for some reason, All of his pages will be gone even if you are an admin of that page.
[You can do a test. create 2 accounts and create one fan page from account A and add account B as an admin and push the FB page to him and delete your account A and see]

Its against the rules but u could do it and thats not a problem, i actually bought some fanpages.. i already have 30 millions of fans
