Fiver links all gone 6 months later, why?

Six months ago I did a 600 social bookmarking backlink package. At the time, I went through the excel file and verified that most of the links were live. On a hunch, I opened the excel file again today and manually put about 20 of the links in the web browser. THEY WERE ALL GONE. Why did this happen? I'm getting started with automated tools myself--any tips to prevent this from happening again?

There's no way to entirely prevent this. 1. Build your own backlinks, don't entrust your the integrity of your site's link profile to someone who is going to make $4. Some people will deliver quality for this, most just want to push out the maximum amount of sales in the least amount of time possible., 2. When you spin your descriptions and titles make sure that they are readable and not spun garbage, 3. You should constantly be scraping and posting to new sites to replace lost links. You will lose links no matter what you do even if your content is great.

You can't prevent it from happening as you don't have full control on those sites where you put your backlinks. The solution is to constantly build backlinks and get as much diversity of your backlinks.

It's not really all that uncommon for links to disappear after an extended period of time. I suppose it just so happened that the social bookmarks you've gotten weren't very high quality so they just disappeared sooner is all.

Which fiverr provider did you use for this? I use fiverr a lot with no problems...

Most likely the bookmarks were from Pligg sites which die off all the time. Certain CMS's are hammered by spammers so they die very very quickly.

You can't prevent it from happening since search engines like Google tend to remove spammy links. You can however decrease the chances of your links being removed by creating it manually and naturally. High quality links are important nowadays and not those spammy links

Social Bookmarks don't last forever

I see posts disappear all the time even on major sites nothing too new

Either way even if a lot of them were still up there's a decent chance they may be deindexed by now anyways

Not a big deal anyways just build new ones

I'm facing the same problem. Basically you should really consider WHERE to post links and how useful they will be, WHERE you put them. Just spamming is wrong. It's a real recommendation to do something by hand. I'm using SEO tools since a long time, nevertheless manual submission and more "natural" placed links are of longer life

Hehe: You know what? I bought 1800 facebook likes for US$ 5 at fiverr ... They came within 48 hours ... and disappeared COMPLETELY after another 48 hours. I should have read the description ...
Nevertheless he did not state, that these likes are staying, but he should have mentioned, they will disappear again. That something like a "subscription" ;-)
