[Help?] 20,000+ Opt-in Email List, Need Advice

My apologies that this is a request thread, and not a method. If there's a better place to move this to I'd be happy to delete(or replace this with a method thread) and repost.

Let me start simply, if more information is needed I'm more than happy to provide it.

I've recently acquired access to an opt-in email list of people who have bought, or are ready to buy. The list is now growing by about 20 people a day. This list has only been used previously to send out worthless newsletters and notifications about twice a year. The list is hosted on a bluehost account with Dada Mail.

From what I understand, using Dada Mail on a webhost account I'm guessing will have a ridiculously low inbox rate, but I'm not sure what the best way to transfer this list to another email service would be, or which service would be best to use? From what I've read, I was thinking about going with Aweber?

If anyone has experience with email lists created through ecommerce sites, I would love to chat with them through PM or on Skype.

Aweber will require you to double opt the list (i.e ask them to subscribe again - which will make you lose a lot of the subscribers).

I think you meant mail chimp IamNRE and I totally agree with you , making them double opt in through Aweber will guarantee that you will lose a lot of contacts. I am not sure if getresponse does the same but if they do even they are pretty good.

I have helped out a real estate agent with setting up an email campaign in MailChimp before(I'm not experienced with it, they were just completely helpless), but I've never run a list through it myself. I had been under the impression that any good email list service would require me to opt-in the full list again, so it's good to hear that there are services that won't.

Now I guess it's just a matter of reading up on the best methods to Inbox with MailChimp, unless someone else can offer a better solution? Thanks!

Sendgrid seems to be the premier people out there.To do it on the cheap get a cracked edition of interspire in the downloads section and build up your own reputation and inboxing rate.
