Few question about link wheel. Please help this newbie

Hello guys, I have few question about link wheel method. Please help me to figure this out

1. When we choose web 2.0 to posting article is it important to open new blog? Or if I post my article on any existing blog, is there any problem?
2. Using keyword on sub domain name can be a problem or benefit?
3. Do we need to on page optimization for each web 2.0 property?

Just treat web 2.0 as your normal site/blog

I would suggest that you stay away from using a link wheel, instead you should be creating a link pyramid of at least 2 levels, 3 levels would be best.

This.. plus 'blur' the edges of the structure and link out to other random properties so that you don't end up with a 'closed' link-structure, which looks less natural. Wheels are dangerous now as they're very easy to detect and smack of obvious manipulation. (Unless you're doing such giant wheels that it becomes a moot point; i.e. thousands of elements before reconnecting.) It's much safer to create 'messy' pyramids , which are chaotic in structure.
