im using sites found on Google to test the new proxies i just bought. every last result site shows the proxy ip's, however on the first page, not a result, is a message from Google that reads: your public ip is xxx.xxx... and it's my real ip! how the Hell do they know? i mean, i ccleaned, killed flash cookies. G's not my homepage so after getting cleaned up, starting FF & setting up the proxy, why/how upon visiting Google do they know my real ip?

will it matter? ...'cause i need the proxies for YouTube work

matt cunts is looking through your window

Not all proxies are anonymous. ;)
Some actually tell they are proxies, others don't even bother to hide your IP as the proxy is intended as a cache.

What does this site tell you?

I think u need better proxies or u did sth wrong

I've never seen a message on the Google page about my IP. Can you please post a print screen?

It looks like the proxies you use are transparent proxies where the server you request could see your real IP.

thanks for the replies, guys. google doesn't know shit, turns out i just had the proxies configured wrong. they stopped being psychic once i checked the box for "use this proxy server for all protocols"

haha ya I've had the same thing happen. I typically blow through some proxies while getting everything working... then I can stick with the same proxies once I got everything figured out
