zip or rar???

So im about to do a massive upload of content locked torrents that i recon are gana do pretty well, this will be my biggest upload ever im doing separate account for each torrent and I want everything to be perfect, but i dont know which to pick, a password locked zip or a password locked rar

Do you guys happen to know which one is the best to use when your uploading content locked software?

Like if i upload 2 identical password locked torrents except 1 is a zip and one is a rar, which would last longer without deletion on tpb and kat?

Rar is more used in the scene, but really it's catching up thanks for 7zip, winrar, etc.

Zip is more popular. Even Windows Explorer supports it internally. It has been around for a long time. Many old time Windows users have been using it since Winzip era (at that time didn't support rar).

Basically, internet users will not have problems with any of them... unless you use multi-part compression or split those files into odd extension like .001, .002...

Yea, with recovery... rar is less prone to error. Even the download is slightly corrupted, files will be saved.

This is especially helpful for huge file like ISO, video, etc.

But again few people know it. When the program throw something like"CRC error," they panic and stop there so it may not be a feature for end users.
